King Mo 👑 could definitely outscore Haaland. Only 33 points behind last season when he and Liverpool underperformed. He also got 265 points last time it was an AFCON season if anyone is worried about that.

Hi Lateriser, your approaches are always interesting. I think there are mainly 2 options: go with or without Mo. If I can share my opinion on the draft of your video, I would say there are some players that I am not sure I would pick them (obviously I can be totally wrong): Steele - I think he should be starting but after 3 games, next opponents become harder. I am also worried that Brighton can miss Mcallister and Caicedo (if he finally leaves). I know they are playing really well but I am not so sure they are going to repeat las seasons (they will also play europe). This takes me to Pedro, I do not see clear he is going to be in starting 11 every game. Next point is the bench, hardly to get points from there. In my opinion, have Salah requires sacrificing a midfielder ( Martinelli) for a 6.5, move Rashford to Bruno, upgrade forward and if possible upgrade also gk to allow you moving for Onana or Chelsea or Arsenal gk

Love the new draft, I play quite conservatively so I'm always keen to get inspiration from more flair managers like yourself

Like the idea of Jackson in isolation based on the positions he occupies when he’s on the pitch. Problem I have in my current structure with Salah, Saka and Rashford (the latter 2 are non negotiable imo), is not being able to have Jesus and play 3-4-3. Also, struggling to find funds for Nkunku/Darwin. The Jackson pick has to work just to break even with the pack and I’m not confident. Low floor, unknown ceiling, could backfire terribly.

I have a similar Salah draft, but with some changes Martinelli - Mitoma Nakamba - Andreas (provides a good bench) Pedro - Wissa What do you think?

Plenty of other options to captain besides Salah or Haaland. Villa and Arsenal are viable teams for example.

Great content as usual thanks. I have a fomo with Salah but his presence will really hamper at least 2-3 other spots on the team (including a strong defence and striker to partner Haaland. Without him, the options are endless, including Darwin (who I hope plays a much bigger role this season and could be a good route into the Liverpool team). Im also without Trent and I hope Esupinian, Gabriel and Chilwell will be enough for attacking returns.

Have you explored going against Haaland with Salah for the first two and then using a double transfer gw3 to get Haaland back? It's less disruptive to the overall team structure and there are good alternative captains gw1 with Arsenal/Utd fixtures then Salah gw2 and Haaland gw3. Been playing with the idea myself, but I'm also considering going Darwin and taking the minutes risk for the first two.

I thought I was the only one crazy enough to do this. This is exactly what I was thinking plus Haalands price won’t change as he’s owned by so many people. You can even start with Kane and Salah if Kane stays as Kane is a great place holder.

@@tswelopeleseleka9641 Not saying I'm crazy enough to do it! 😁but it is a tempting strategy for some early upside, esp if KDB isn't fit for the opener. To me it's more likely that Haaland will have a worse (albeit still great) season than 2 record breaking seasons in a row, but their fixtures are so good to start that I'm leaning more towards Haaland & Darwin now. I'm sure I'll consider and reconsider again before the deadline!

I think Jackson is a great pick to start the season, Chelsea looks awful without him on the field and he is oozing confidence. When I watch him it is like watching a player who is pushing to the next level.

@@blackscreen597 I'd say he's a wait and see.. United are going to be experimenting with tactics and will be exposed in the start. We saw their highline being exposed vs Real Madrid, it certainly will be exposed in the prem to especially against counter attacking teams

I´ve got 7/11 the same , only Mbeumo , Wissa, Jackson, Ahmedhodzic in place of Pedro, Martinelli, Estupinan and Stones...ofc no 4 atb for me so there is a slight difference there, but other than that in attack I really like Jackson for Liverpool already and then have him in place, the Brentford double up is underrrated imo ..can see a game where both get double digits and nice enabling set and forget for first 7weeks...Pedro and martinelli could be fire but with Brentford duo I wont have headaches and they don´t have many other scoring outlets ...Ahmedhodzic of Sheffield rotation with Villa defender both 4.5 I really dont mind...Ahmedhodzic one of the most dangerous CB´s for open play shots plus set piece threat, Villa good team ...currently on Konsa

4-4-2 looks the best formation if going with Salah in my opinion. Think I'm going 3-4-3, without Salah, but with a decent defender as first sub to give some flexibility.

I think Jackson looks great but im more in favour of Nkunku since im pretty confident that his minutes are nailed. I also think there is a decent chance Nkunku will be on penalties aswell.

Do you think that João Pedro starts GW1? I currently have a similar draft but with Wissa upfront and honestly if Pedro starts that lets me get Pedro for Wissa and upgrade Porro for Stones, but i am seriously doubtful he will start

Fairly comfortable captaining Bruno in that Spurs game. The way spurs are attacking is prime for Rashy and bruno thriving. That's one reason am now more comfortable being No Salah.
