Fowey (pronounced Foy like Joy) in Cornwall is a port town and tourist destination in the South West of England that has grown in popularity in recent years.
Tourists come from all over the country and beyond to Fowey to see the town centre, the quayside, the riverside area and enjoy the food and drink in the town's pubs, restaurants and bars.
Tourism is growing in Fowey Cornwall too with lots of hotels and guesthouses in the area, and with cruise ships bringing visitors into the town on a regular basis.
People travel to Fowey for a day trip as well as a full summer holiday break, and there is plenty to do in the area including boat trips or taking the ferry boat over to Polruan (which is great by the way!)
Famous people who have lived in or around Fowey Cornwall include the author Daphne Du Maurier and the famous comedienne and actor Dawn French of French and Saunders and Vicar of Dibley fame. She used to live in a really lovely home in Readymoney Cove overlooking the River Fowey

Lovely, we stayed there last June and plan to stay again this June.... looking forward to going back!
I remember those heavy, gray, overcast skies that were a forewarning of a possible storm ahead. Listening to your feet pattering as you showed us the twists and turns of lovely Fowey Cornwall. Ending at it's bustling harbour. Thanks for the invite for another enjoyable walk with you. :)

Wow! Haven't been to fowey since my two boys were small, absolutely loads of jellyfish in the water I remember, love the videos and keep up the good work, did see a huge ship come in for the China clay being pushed around by two tugboats

Thanks for a great insight as travel by car as you have pointed out is dodgy, and especially confirming a concern of mine for many years on how to pronounce Fow! Thanks for your trips around resorts, it really opens up locations and informs, the locals must be pleased!

Visited Fowey in August in 2019 lovely place, one thing I collect fridge magnets and I could not find a shop that sold Fowey fridge magnets.
