Ik isn’t related to the video but sometimes the devil try’s to attack and take control over your mind which gets so frustrating
All of that is correct. Still, if you mix this KNOWLEDGE with a few drops of HUMILITY, and WILLINGNESS to change your mind, it will probably HELP. And yes, you, me, and everyone else, will STILL be a victim of our own biases, but knowing about them can help us acknowledge it when people point them out to us, and it can help us to see it in ourselves more than we would have, if we didn't know about these tendencies. When we are IN THE MOMENT, we're likely to still mess up, but if we habitually do some introspection, and question ourselves, then we're at least setting the stage as best we can in the effort to combat our biases. What wasn't mentioned in the video, but is VERY important in this regard, is to understand COGNITIVE DISSONANCE. It plays a HUGE part in our lives.

"but knowing about them can help us..." sounds like GI Joe fallacy.
Our brain is a magnificent generalization generator, pattern seeker, and short cut finder. It must be, for it main purpose is to make sure we stay alive in this world as long as possible.
Thank you very much ..

That Caffeine - Cancer one was really GOOD! Whew!!! I almost pissed my pants...laughing hysterically now...DAMN! Talk about cutting to the chase
Brilliant!!
It was the best video for me till this moment.. Thanks soo much
for the past 2 months my mind has been creating a problem and i have been stressing out in such a way that there is no dang a problem!!! can you believe soooooo. I even had suicidal thoughts I did not see a way out.
I am very impressed by this video and knowledge inside, as well as humour. Absolutely fantastic is too weak to say! Congratulations folks, you are doing great job for the world and BBC! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Last line was epic
Just responding best I can taming my biases’. With caffeine I thought I read California label coffee ‘possibly carcinogen’ due to spraying of specifically glyphosate on the crops. I love the brain driving the car, and with the poorly parked car I feel speaks more about realistic variables, which IMO peer reviewed does not necessarily capture with a backstop of error margin ~ 3-4%. Absolution does not appear to be a strength for science especially in policy. Its better to allow you mind to rest rather than judging everything, always look both ways when driving and remember driving requires always safety first☃️
The #2 bias, the internet has lotssssssssss of it.

True, some of them speak of their personal experiences. But not all. I speak of this from my personal experiences too lol You're probably did it because of that too hmm..
My brain tricks me into thinking that those kids or bullies were watching me and talking about me and it also tricks me into caring about what my brain says about me
Jajaja muy buen video, lo chistoso lo hizo excelente.
It is the part of defence mechanism?
The Parking Example: Me *That Jerk!*........ Shows why they had to park that way: Me: 🤣True True these things could happen!
Yes. Many scientists have cognitive bias called lobby and politicians. 😂
I love how english sounds😀😃
Ive seen this before
i think my brain is offended.
Okay, I'm just going to go ahead and jump off of this building now.
Dang, I think I know those biases before seeing the video to be not biased. I rated the coffee one as wrong because I have seen it somewhere that it doesn't, I drink coffee though so that could be a bias too. This is probably because of the bias too, bias to be unique and some excuses.

Coffee does a lot of harm, that is proven.
Ok so on number three the cars next the red one were put well and not in a way that the red one couldn’t park. On top of that the red cars driver could’ve still Parked well at least to some degree so that example is pretty dumb Otherwise pretty good video
Brain can pontificate about its limits but do nothing about them.

Our brains are designed for efficiency, not accuracy. This is because an efficient brains consumes less energy and can redirect it at the time of crisis.

Hmmm... Knowing about them seems to not help all that much. I really do wish to act rationally. Help?

Yes, I really need someone to tell me that ‘common sense’ is a false sense of security and human should not act on their instincts to avoid danger. When we face a dangerous situation like COVID 19, remember to think of all scenarios and don’t make any decisions before you can think of the pros and cons.
Evoking Trump imagery... I see what you did there ;)
So it's in one's innate nature to have these sort of biases, to become a better muslim I was fighting with these all along, Because we(muslims) are supposed to follow the life of the prophet, his character possessed all the positives, Cute :)
my saying on the first gestion not becuze I drink coffe but mainly becuze I know that is not tru lol I say that 0 out of 10 instantly

Those uploading such videos are having free gossip time. Playing tricks with brains of viewers.
This is stupidity. You give me a limited amount of information, I draw a conclusion and am wrong? Had the number sequence been 1, 2, 3 or even 1, 7,845, and 1,000,000 then it makes sense that it is ascending order. What a bunch of garbage.
