My dad broke his pelvis when he was riding his bike. A couple of years ago! I used to do 50miles long distance rides with my dad, when I was 16 years old.

I saw a post today of Jason and Mary Carl together in a Florida sunset. You are really great role model of how your boys learn to treat women when they are grown. It nice Mazzy gets to decide when to be on the camera and when she does not. I am so glad y'all foster those healthy boundaries giving her the authority to decide. Cookies did look fantastic also. my Dad said that before and during WW2 most farmers here had bard rock hens but then switched to leg horn. when i was young we got 50 roosters chicks when we bought 100 lbs of feed we then processed them at home/ when the head came off he would throw them up in the air to see how far they would go one went about 100 yards

I don’t usually watch your videos and laugh, but I do have a smile on my face all the time when I watch your videos. Today I found myself laughing out loud for a number of reasons. Gary, it tickles me the way you talk to your animals like they’re going to hear you and understand what you’re saying & then do what you say to do. Line for example, and you were feeding the cows, you said, “now don’t be doing that! Be nice to each other!” 😀😀 and again, I’m still laughing because they don’t understand your words, but they may understand your tone! Next is the ball getting out and you were videotaping the process, and I knew by your tone of voice you were very aggravated with Geronimo, and rightfully so. Now in Geronimo’s case, I think he could tell by the tone of your voice that you were put out with him and watching his body language he’s so badly want to turn around and go back where he came from❣️❣️ but it was your voice that scared him to keep going forward and the bicycle shaking too. I’m sure! Years ago, and I won’t tell you how many, because then I’d be telling you how old I am…. we had dairy cattle on the farm. At first it was just Holsteins, but my mother really loved jersey cows, so they were added to the herd. Now we had a Lotta cattle and I can’t tell you how many because I was only five on the farm I’m speaking of, & my mother had a favorite jersey cow that she fell in love with, and her name was Bubbles. Now Bubbles was a beautiful jersey cow with that perfect brown-eyed face, and she always had the prettiest calves, and they were nice size Calves as well! It was just one problem, and that was every time it came her delivery day, she walked right over the fence, crossed a major highway, and into our neighbors pasture, and would have her baby near a creek bed where it would be well hidden. Now the only problem with that is that my neighbor worried about the baby calf getting injured by the other breed of cows he had. Plus Bubbles stomped down his Fence, and it became a big issue for the neighbor and my parents. She had big feet & as a child, that’s what I remembered the most about her & that made the sweetest pretty calves…but she really made me nervous w/ her exceptionally big feet!! Well, on the third delivery of her calf, crossing the road & breaking down multiple fences, both the neighbor and my dad had said, “enough!!!” And my mother, who never cried, one sunny day when a big semi truck pulled up in our driveway, and the guy got out and he helped Daddy load Bubbles up into the big semi, I saw my mom teary-eyed in her room over that cow. I swore I would never get close to an animal like my mom had. Her heart was broken, but Dad said I’m sorry Mom, but what are these days she’s libel to get hit by a truck on the highway because she can’t move very fast. We were asked never to mention it in front of Mom again, and the cattle herd changed to fully Holstein and brown swiss cows because they were known for lots of milk and we sold our milk to A&E MilkCo., out of Des Moines Iowa.. So, I do understand your frustration with your Bull Geronimo❣️❣️ it is a love-hate relationship until you can no longer put up with the shenanigans and /or something tragic happened. My Dad had a tender heart & I know that was a hard decision for him to make.

Oh yum. Home baked cookies. Mazzie is so full of energy. She's just cute. The chicks are getting big, losing their fluff and growing feathers. Geronimo is very large, I am glad he is not a hostile bull. I guess he was just being one of the boys out for a walk. And we all know boys will be boys. I guess he could have stopped by the house and asked for permission. But it was probably too far out of his way. I guess you could have given him a spanking, but I am not sure how he would have taken it......... Lol.

Oh my goodness that is life on the farm I remember having nothing but a bull whip and the best cattle dog, between me and a herd of cattle and I was 10 years old. I was scared to death but I wouldn't trade those days for nothing. Thank you for sharing. Love you guys. God bless and take care.

I would say to use chain to keep the gate locked .one on top and one on bottom . Using chain keeps Dusty’s bison in ,so it should keep Geronimo in too. Probably had more to do with so cows being in heat

Both boys look handsome in their new hair cuts. I live not far from the freeway I always worry about the livestock getting out and running down the freeway which would not be a good thing for them or whomever who may hit them. Geronimo new you took a bike ride he just wanted to meet up with you.
