We visited 6 different states in 4 days and loved them all. Today we share New Hampshire, Vermont, and Connecticut. Vermont had beautiful foliage and lots of unique homesteads, we even visited a farm with maple syrup and farm made cheese. It was great until we left for home, the federal authorities at the airport set off a silent alarm when we went through because of what was in Ransoms bag... Thanks for watching and God Bless!

The houses and barns are close to the road so in winter they can still get in and out without having to plow a long driveway. A lot of farms had to deliver milk and other goods. Smart people!

I’ve already commented but I have to comment further. You will cherish these memories with your kids. Our 40 year old son passed away almost 8 weeks ago after a fairly short illness. We and his medical team did all we could to keep him here but God had another plan. Oh the precious memories we have of our dear boy! ❤️. I also want to say how sweet and patient you all are with Mazzie’s fears. She’s a very special young lady and you’re all very blessed to have each other.

He went home to God in the early hours of Friday morning and we had his funeral today. My heart is heavy but I want to say thank you for all the prayers, his mom Jean still needs prayers for comfort, strength and healing please. God bless.

I really enjoy the roadside stops. You make a long Connecticut. So many people never feel they can otake the time to enjoy those roadside stops. It will be interesting to see Ransome’s pictures he took. I bet they’ll be wonderful. I gave my three-year-old grandson a Camera because he was always studying the ground and seeing little details that I missed and I was surprised because I see so much with my eyes. he truly did an amazing job at photography. I turned in one of his pictures he took to my professor at college and she said it was an excellent picture and then I told her my grandson took it at 83 years of of age. It upset her to think she gave a top grade to a picture that was done by a three year old. I told her I just wanted her to be as fair in her judgment to my grandson as I was❣️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️💙💙💙💙💙.

They are restoring an old farmhouse/homestead near the mountains and there is a big old barn on the property too. They have slowly been adding animals as they work on the huge house. My sister is visiting there now and I hope I get to go there some day! Their two little kids are thriving there! Their little girl has only 8 kids in her classroom at school 😊 Thanks for sharing your vacation with us. It’s a wonderful way to learn about our great country. 🇺🇸

Beaches, mountains, lakes, snowmobile trails and ski slopes. Hiking and alot of history and recreation. Take 3 to 5 days when you visit my great state of NEW YORK. It's an amazing state. In Elmira where I live Mark Twain wrote many of his books and lived here and is buried here along side his wifes family plot. If you come close I will take you on a tour of the great history of Elmira, NY.

I loved the opening credits. I miss living at the beach so much. It looked like a fun trip and without question it was a beautiful trip. We have done 26 states with both boys and 28 with the oldest. Safe travels back home. My kids laughed and my oldest said remember when you set off the buzzard. Turned out the buttons on my shirt were not plastic. I got a thorough pat down while they told me they knew it was my buttons. They told my oldest don't stop you have to keep going. I told him don't you dare move. TSA tried to counter. I interrupted them quickly, if you want to have someone sit with him somewhere that's fine but you cannot send him off by himself. He's developmentally delayed and has a lot of medical. He still tried to tell me the kid had to go, but in my kid's eyes, I outranked the TSA in authority so he stayed. The last behind me also got stopped but she didn't speak English. It wasn't good, they kept repeating themselves and that one hothead TSA upsetting her and not getting her someone that could translating. I pointed to her ears and pointed to the bucket and she instantly understood smiled, nodded, and took her earrings out. They made her go through again and she didn't beep. The TSA hothead glared and the TSA lady doing patdowns smiled. patdo

Foliage is dull this year. A friend reported " I spoke to an arborist. He said it’s the maples. They started to bud early because of last winter’s mild weather, and then a frost nipped them badly." Maples give the brillant red colors you see in NH pictures.

Thank you for taking us along with you on your New England trip. It is so beautiful in autumn with all the different colored leaves. In 1995, two friends and I drove from upstate New York, to Vermont, then New Hampshire, then Maine and Acadia National Park, and then down to Massachusetts, and then back to upstate New York. I always wish we could have squeezed Rhode Island and Connecticut into our trip, so I appreciate your videos. You all visited many of the same places we did in Vermont, including Woodstock, Taftsville, and Stowe, including the tour of Ben and Jerry's. That Adventure Park in Connecticut looked like such fun for Ranger and Ransom. I was wondering what it was in Ransom's bag that set off airport security. You would think they would know what a pop-gun is, and that it's just a toy. I'm glad you were able to make it home after that.

I am glad you made it to Connecticut. From where you stopped at the Adventure Park, you were less than 1 hour from where my Son, Daughter-in-Law, and Granddaughter lives. Boy do I miss them. Have a safe trip home and God Bless You.

Hey Gary, Ransom has been taking loads of pictures with his cell……do you think that when you guys get home, you could take a couple of minutes of a video and let him show us all he felt interesting to photograph on your family trip….gives us old ones a chance to see New England through the young ones eyes. YAY Mazzie, I’m happy to see you were brave enough to taste the cider, I bet it was good! And Ranger, you keep such a good eye on your younger brother. I know you are on a airplane at the end of the trip (right?) but I hope you were able to get a few river rocks to tumble. Thanks for this video, so glad you guys stop and smell the roses (so to speak) on your trips. That’s so important…..making memories.

Ranger, Ransom and Gary you are really brave doing the zipline. I don't like heights so I would have been down on the ground looking up at you. So glad you had a great adventure in New England. Thank you for taking us along.

My favorite Ben @Jerry's is their Cherry Garcia. I am originally from the east coast and I don't think there is anywhere more beautiful in the fall. I am glad you all got to see it.

What a great vacation adventure! Thanks for taking us along. I may live in New England, but I haven't been to many of the places you stopped at, so this was great to experience along with your family. You certainly made lots of great memories this week. Get some rest!

Probably the crooked mountain roads. If you can find some Dramamine, try taking half a tablet or quarter tablet. Just enough to settle your stomach without making you too sleepy. Doing the driving also helps, but not if you're taking Dramamine.

The huge boulder the boys were saying look at the huge (?) rock, Dad. I would have expected that to be more the size of Plymouth Rock.

In New England, "wicked" doesn't mean evil or bad, it means very. For example, you would say, "that lobster tasted wicked good", or "it's wicked cold today", or "Tom Henry is in wicked mean mood this morning, better measure him for roasting pan." 😜😏😃🦃
