The only thing that disappoints me with Forza Motorsport 8 is the cockpit views are abysmal in comparison to GT7. I prefer the overall style of Forza more but GT7 has waaay better interior detail and camera movement.

Anyone with a right mind: - More detailed circuit environments - Better sense of speed (GT7 is a turtle) - More realistic chasecam (GT7 looks lifeless when steering. as if you're moving the track around, not the car) - More realistic collisions (GT7 is like pinball) - visual damage, blemishes and dirt over the course of races (GT7 the cars all latex waxed all the time) - Dynamic weather and time on every track (GT7 limited to a few tracks) - Better rain effects (GT7 very poor) - Better lighting, specially during night (GT7 circuits always has the light posts off) - Ray Tracing on gameplay (GT7 doesn't) - 24 cars on track (GT7 only 16) - 16 daily Multilayer races with multiple series and tracks (GT7 only 3, in the same tracks) - Qualify for every race at any time (on GT7 you qualify just once for all the races) - Best gamepad handling (by a mile) - More realistic overall See? Not being an extreme fanboy can open eyes ;) The only things GT7 does better: - Cars level of detail (specially on smallest areas) - car paint reflectiveness - More circuits (to the day) specially fantasy circuits

@@fordgtguy The Aventador doesn't have a V10 dude. It has a V12. Look up the Aventador sound irl, then compare it to both games. I guarantee you GT7 will sound more accurate.

At this point, in any FM vs GT7, I don’t know what to feel. GT7 being more and more praised or FM8 getting more and more humiliated. IMO both are legit. But I can say one thing for sure. Day 1 gamepass killed Forza. As well as it did the same for Halo, Gears etc.

I have a list of issues with FM 2023 myself, but to see some people put GT on a pedestal it probably doesn't deserve is kind of sad.

Just look at real Life how slow It Is when you are on track, and i think gt7 has litterally the same sense of Speed of real Life, not like forza Motorsport

Just a simple question: does anybody else noticed a difference in details between these cars (and japanese ones) with cars made by some american facturers? Dont get me wrong, i love GT7 and I've played it since the first one, but can somebody explain me this?

in gt7 you choose where to showcase your car, you can put it in a bunch of different places, or you can get a super high-def image from replays and render it to make a hyper realistic picture. that is just the garage animation that he showed there not him actually showing the car of or the ways you can actually showcase the cars.

GT7 pays a lot more attention to detail especially with the car models. There are enough videos on KZread that show how much more detailed the Polyphony car models are over the Turn10 models. In this instance as well, the car sounds are also better in GT7. Only downside here for GT7 is the actual racing gameplay. I firmly believe cars in GT7 are meant to be driven in cockpit view. The chase camera is way too static. This is where Forza outshines, because you can drive any car in cockpit or chase cam and it will feel good. That being said, GT7 still gets the car details a lot better and is a better game. Let's not even bring up the sad broken state FM23 is still in even after the last update that promised major fixes that didn't seem to actually fix anything.

The chase camera in GT7 is customizable, so you can make it more in line with Forza.

My textures still dessapears and i dont even now when to turn and brake sometimes. Can’t play it normally, they this bug on their list of bugs that will be fixed someday:/ its pretty long wait

@@danifit24 I had the same problem when I installed the game the first time and the way I fixed it was by moving the game to my NVMe SSD. I thought it got installed there the first time and had to move the game to it after getting the graphics bugs and noticing load in times on multiplayer were garbage. Now i no longer have those problems other than the game intermittently crashing. Not sure how to fix that after collective hours of troubleshooting.

You're right, gt's camera does look more static. But you're completely wrong about Forza feeling good in any view. Because on my sim rig the handling in cockpit view is complete garbage!

Neither one does it very well. Neither really sounds good. Both are compressed and use too many modern music techniques in post. If I had to choose tho, I'd give it to FM in this scenario. The GT7 one is too clean. At least FM attempts to capture the raw feel of the car. GT7 does win in the car model dept tho. Every time.

Simple algoritm for me : GT7 > FM7 FH5 > GT7 >FM8 😂

@@toomanyvowles yes there are several videos where they mess with the image on Forza to make it look worse. But also many other videos with equal conditions, and there Forza looks better in most aspects. And it's not just graphics alone, but how the cars look an feel when racing. Forza Motorsport looks more realistic. GT7 all stuck to the back of the car, barely moving and always perfectly waxed doesn't give that sense of real life.

Just by how fake and sad GT7 crashes are (bumper cars) it loses to almost any other racing game out there. You are into some hard shit to say that unironically or say it's a better sim than AC.
