to be fair atleast this is one of the models that looks passable but it also brings up the question of... what in the hell is happening with the lighting engine in this game. theres just lighting bouncing off of surfaces in the rear of the car that make no sense. the diffuser and tail lights look so weird because of it

They had 5 years to develop a new engine with ray tracing on track. The lighting and the track looks more advanced. It's hard to completely rework all of models too

Forza is just loud but completely misses the tone of that V12. Just watch top gears video of this car and you can clearly hear GT7 sounds far more accurate.

Gone are the days that GT cars sounded like a vacuum cleaner

This guy always does this. GT7 at the highest resolution and quality, vs FM at lower resolution and blurry, to give the impression that GT7 "looks better" at all costs. I recommended you to watch videos from AJR gaming or even Racing Vista if you want a more fair comparison

Es fácil si en la recta vas de norte a sur y la sombra está cargada hacia el sur estacestaria en la parte trasera del auto y este toma una curva hacia la derecha la sombra estaría a la derecha del auto en forza esto no se ve pareciera que el sol está arriba y el auto siempre tiene la sombra abajo

And that's not all: even in cloudy weather with no direct sun exposure, the cars has the same exaggerated sun reflection on the cars. Just one of the many aspects where GT7 tries to show "beauty" over realism

FM7 is a joke!!

Im starting to narrow down the reason why Forza Motorsport is looking worse than GT 7. One of the reasons is the optimization and development for different systems like PC , Series X and Series S. Having to focus on Series S first and then go for other systems can maybe the reason for the quality to look bad compared to GT 7 as it was made on PS4 and tuned to max for the PS5.

Not necessarily. Forza horizon also has to take into consideration all those platforms as well as being open world yet still looks good. To me it comes down to two things. The lighting model and the car models just look better in GT7

You are so wrong lmao. Series S is miles stronger than ps4 and should be much much easier to optimize the game for it cuz it has the new technology. The state you made doesn't make any sense cuz it's the same in both ways. GT 7 is developed for ps5 and then downgraded for ps4.

Yeah no environmental reflects see the green and color reflections. Gt don't have Ray tracing
