  I tried FM and Horizon on my gaming pc after playing gt7 with a wheel. FM vs GT7 is like chalk and cheese, GT7 is way more fun and the game looks so much better! Horizon is fun but all cars feel the same and doing random weird things got pretty old.

  Although I prefer Gt7 in story the camera angle is rubbish and while the visuals look great I prefer Forza's graphics more simply because it looks more realistic ( just my opinion)

  The graphics in both games are extremely bad, I didn't like it at all, there is too much contrast, it has nothing to do with reality, the camera angles are terrible, both of them are the worst games, they are crap as shit, I'm sick to my stomach. How incompetent these people are, if you are going to make a game, make it realistic and high quality, if you can't, don't make it, don't embarrass yourself, take these games off the market.

  Both games are extremely inaccurate in terms of sound. The Ford GT LeMans sounds more like a dirtbike than anything.

  My biggest take away here is that (IMO) GT’s colors are way over saturated and the contrast (exposure) rather dark overall compared to FM. So much for realism in that regard. Otherwise this all comes down to personal preferences, no “right’s or wrongs.” Having said that, FM was released way too early with all kinds of problems in various areas, from inaccurate kerbs at times and inaccurate color choices, (at the least worrisome end of the continuum.) So it’s definitely a flawed product that F10 devs are now madly putting out updates to correct. I’m sure each game has its strengths and weaknesses. I race the latest FM (with a Logitech G Pro Wheel and pedals) on Xbox X/S. 🎉 There are glitches that are annoying and I hope are soon addressed, but I still enjoy the game. Assetto Corsa Competitione is the sim-racing game most are raving about in terms of details, technical aspects, physics and realism. Where AC gets you is requiring you to pay for adding cars to your stable, beyond the limited initial options. I’m learning ACC now. Thanks to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

  The actual V8 sound is good in both, but it sounds more natural nd has good bass in Motorfest. In FH5 it’s way too clear nd crackly to where u could tell they used sum poor equipment to record the sounds. Then for the whine, it’s way too squeaky/artificial sounding nd low pitched in FH5, while it’s simply way too quiet in Motorfest. Overall Motorfest sounds better. This is coming from a Forza player. Ubisoft jus killed it this time fr.

  Forza feels like it's going backward with every release. One of the reasons I switched to playing Horizon (not for the simulation, but just the features). Hell, we used to have our own store fronts at one point. When I play Gran Turismo, I expect it to be fairly barebones, which is fine because that's just how GT has always been. But, for Forza to have 8 games and the first 4 are the only ones with any semblance of features is kinda sad.

  For me fm7 looks less lively Than gt7, but the car models in fm7 are much better. For instance in the first clips of the vid you can see how the cars sit on the suspension. The 918 is Gt7 sits much higher, and the tires don’t even looking round if you look close enough. The shape of gt7’s cars look a bit small or shorter than they do in really. A lot of this has to do with the camera placement and movement which it my favorite above any other racing game. Most racing sims don’t care to capture the livid feel that forza does, instead they are stiff like in gt7.

  So basically its identifical except GT7 cockpit camera is way more realistic and the sound in cockpit sounds literally like real life where as FM cockpit sounds like a videogame the exhaust sounds too robotic.
