While forza tries to create a sense of speed with the higher fov it makes the car models look strangely squeezed in comparison

I'm not gonna say things like "omg forza looks like a ps3 game", "gt is on a whole another level" and shit. I just love gt better no matter if its better or not. Things said.

Forza Environments looks better, gt7 Car model and Sound are better. 😊

As a FH5 players, i would say clear winner for GT7 its looks way ahead in terms colours, details, close to real life assets, lightning, hand animation, interriors etc, so yeah im still playing fh5 untill fh6 comes out 😂

Ok, so i googled what the real car sounds like because i was thinking these cars sound waayyy too different, GT has the sound more realistic, Forza has the whining part pumped up tooooo much, the whining sound the car makes isn't so loud in real life, it's more pronounced when slowing down which is how GT7 is presenting it, neither game has it perfect but GT7 is way closer.

I'm glad I live in a time that both these games can be beautiful and impressive to look at

It's so funny to me how Forza had an exclusive partnership with Ford (FM6) then release a version of the Ford GTLM that was, in reality, a show car, a rolling chassis with bodywork but no engine, and not the actual car that raced in 2016, though they did render the car with the correct mirrors. Then from then on, they never updated the car to the actual GTE/GTLM spec, with the correct liveries and bodywork. Project Cars 2 however managed to licence the actual Ford GT GTE's with all 4 Lemans spec liveries and bodywork, a small dev in comparison, then GT7 gets the amazing 2018 liveried Ford GTE. It just pisses me off how lazy Turn 10 is, even with an exclusive licence with Ford for the car. I manged to blag a tour of the Ford GT garages at the WEC 6 Hours of Silverstone in 2018, during that, alot of the info on Forzas version of the GT came apparent when I had a conversation with a Ford representative about the total GTE chassis for the car that Ford had in total, which I remember was 6, which included the show car without the engine, which Forza scanned (which later had the winning 2016 #68 cars bodywork put on it as Ford still needed 68's chassis/engine) 2 running cars for WEC/IMSA and a full spare running car, which was later fitted out for Ben Keating in 2019 carrying the Wynn's livery. Turn 10 could have updated the car to any one of these GTs from 2017 to 2019 but chose to stick with the same promo car from late 2015/early 2016. So yeah, in short Turn 10 are lazy, especially with details, they simply do not put as much care and love into their game as Polyphony does. This is from someone who loves Forza, but looks at GT with admiration. (Plus a huge Ford GT racing fan which is why I know this particular car inside and out, sorry for the long rant/post btw)

I was a spectator at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. And the way the track is presented, the lighting, the detailing, the atmosphere of the racing festival in general, FM looks more realistic and authentic than GT7.

How? lol certainly not when it comes to weather details. Explain how after a race the car is clean in gt7 of all dirt ? Gt7 has the car details and sound and overall customization for sure. Driving feel and inside cockpit view on forza is far superior. When you drive in the sunny conditions you see the glare through the window and as the race goes on you see all the dirt and weather accumulation on the cars. Gt7 doesn’t have the depth of detail

Both games didnt capture that true raw sound that the ford gtlm makes but GT7 seems a bit closer. What a shame. FM6 actually was the closest to getting this cars sound correct.

Honestly not really, neither even had a sliver of the real sound, seems like they just took a generic v6 sound and threw it through all of the "make everything sound the same and have no unique characteristics" synthasizers. Idk I just feel like both games, ESPECIALLY gt7 make every car sound the same. I would bet money that neither game used actual recordings of the car. If you want to see a game/mod that has done it right, check out the assetto corsa ford gt gte sound mod by ACFAN

FH has better grx compare to FMS. It so wierd🤔🤷‍♂️

But how come turn 10 can't even replicate the official IMSA livery of the cars tho?

Both games are extremely inaccurate in terms of sound. The Ford GT LeMans sounds more like a dirtbike than anything.

Forza looks like a mobile game. What the hell happened? They need to fire some fools over at Turn 10.

The tree models in FM is so weird

The clipping on forzas audio puts bootleg assetto mods to shame, fucking christ

X >> Y, and it's not even close, X is on a whole new level while Y looks like a 7th gen game LMAO

driving pshysics and in track lights is way better on forza in my opinion but overall gt7 is a better experince! GT7 has better rewarding system with collections and missions plus no need to grind the car to unlock tuning parts!

Can you test Forza with performance RT. It adds depth to the cars. I can tell it's not on because the mirrors aren't reflecting the car.

Forza far more realistic as gt7 imo is oversaturated and soft, cartoonisn almost on track, forza aced rhe realistic haze and saturation imo. GT7s cool car models while in the “showroom” are amazing though really cool how detailed they are!!

I was able to play FM on wheel, then transition over to Rennsport and for the most part, was able to drive the Audi R8 EVO III properly especially after learning break points, the lines to take, and how the cars drive on Spa. I did Nurburgring GP as well as Spa using a M4 GTE and I found it easy to control. Only thing that I wasn't used to in Rennsport was the shifting point in the cars, so at times i felt my cars slamming the limiter.

Just wait until you try an ACTUAL sim like ACC or rF2 or iRacing or AMS2. Both GT7 and Forza will feel like child's play in comparison then and you will never look back
