An amazing detail they put in this car is the analogical odometer that measure the mileage of the car in real time, at 6:54 there is the switch between 3 and 4 in the last digit

I'm super sure that this GT40 is based on the MK1, not the 2. The 2 has a slightly different design on the rear. The 2 also has a 4 speed transmission and not the 5.

Yeah that is definitely a mark 1 with the 289 engine. The mark 2 has more air scoops and has the 427 and so does the mark 4.

You are right, the gulf GT-40 is from 1968, however the person just slapped the 1968 livery on a 1966 Mk I GT-40. You can tell that the car isn't the one from 1968 because the 1966 and 1968 cars have slightly different vents on the hood.

Why is the sound of it so off tho?
