@@SzalonyXardas Yes, and they've done zero development on the car this year. It's annoying that it's an "American" team, but now that Dmitry Mazepin made Urakali the title sponsor of the team, it has basically been adopted by the Russians as their team. I assume Gene Haas will pull out soon, and Mazepin will become the team's new owner, more or less.

When F1 was truly F1. Back when engines were on the ragged edge revving out to 19k RPM. Back when engineers would pray that the engine would survive another lap. The V8 engine in the M3 and V10 engine in the M5 were loosely based on this BMW F1 engine! I believe they were also produced in the same foundry as the F1 engine.

Had I not read the video title, for some parts at least, I'd think they're making some sort of food. But the person making it, he looks like an engineer..so that gives it away.

If anyone here who started watching F1 in 2014 or after you get to hear what a proper F1 car sounds like at the end of this video - glorious! I know they won’t but they should bring back 3.0L V10 in 2021 or at least 2.4L V8

@@stormtrooperlawyer7953 yeah and no NA engine is coming back anytime soon either from what I read. Not sure exactly what you mean there at end but yes, of course. Teams used to be free to choose whatever engine they wanted

9:50 looks like a pretty dated video, but the sound of this engine is just stunning. Still V8, but on the dyno it sounds just great. I can imagine they simulate it with a Monza cycle because it is the circuit requesting the maximum from the engine. Makes me think back to the old V10 and V12 days..The old V10 sounds are just sooooooo stunning, Wish even the V12’s (last team to still drive with it) came back. The F1 sounds in the earlier days was just better than music in my opinion.
