@@patsaxon5284 She's not an advocate of hormonal contraception. There are many different types out there that can/will mess up your body or cause harm. ProLife people are not against birth control. Everyone has there opinions on what to use or if it's for them. Using abortion as birth control is the only one that is not acceptable. Because it's not birth control. I'm ProLife and I always have been. Maybe some people feel that way about birth control but I don't. That doesn't mean I'm not ProLife.

We're talking about women who are not even in situations or a position where they can raise a child, period, regardless of whether they have extra support or help. They're not trying to monopolize on people, they're a nonprofit organization. That is a fact. I acknowledge that there is some suspicion around what they do with aborted fetuses, but we're not talking about that. When it comes to providing sexual health to woman, they are absolutely not taking advantage of them. Unfortunately, that's not the reality... the United States has a horrible health care system, especially for reproductive health. Planned Parenthood is the largest sexual health provider in the United States. It serves rural areas where there simply isn't another affordable organization, and it serves low income people and people of colour disproportionately. The millions of woman they serve and pregnancies and STDs they prevent wouldn't just disappear or fall back onto the U.S health care system if Planned Parenthood were to shut down. I really don't want to get in this argument with you. I never said abortion is empowering to women. And the benefits they provide to women are obviously to the mothers and not the fetus if it so happens to be female (often fetuses aren't aren't even old enough to tell age when aborted anyways). They help women when having a baby could damage her mental and physical health, when she can't afford it, when the pregnancy could ruin her life, job, or education, or when she feels that the quality of life of her child wouldn't be good.

It's about the professional and trustworthy national reputation, affordability, and the accessibility for low income people, isolated people, and minorities that Planned Parenthood provides, that other clinics just don't. I can tell you they're not tricking me into anything. I've done research into independent, un bias sources about Planned Parenthood, and the fact that American women rely on them heavily isn't a trick, it's a fact. Please, show me an example of a medical program for women that has the capacity to serve the millions of women that Planned Parenthood services: it also must be trusted, well known, affordable, accessible, and widespread like Planned Parenthood. Actually, thank god, I do not live in the United States. Your claim is incorrect, because having "more than one medical business" isn't enough to replace and uphold the immense, positive change Planned Parenthood has on reproductive health. The United States health care system is not strong enough for these millions of women to fall back on for reproductive mental health should Planned Parenthood go bankrupt. I used to be pro choice. What was I thinking? I'm and atheist and I don't see this through religious eyes. A society that doesn't respect life is doomed. A fetus is a living human being. ***** Yes I'm saddened by how the world is turning out. I know things change, people change but why so drastic? I'm not a hateful person and I generally don't say much about how people live their lives because it's their life but this, I'm not sure what to even call it, is infecting the youngest of people and something needs to change. Why are adults trying to convince their children that they are a different gender from what they were born? This goes against everything I've ever been taught or believe, but I have to ask myself is this the norm now? Is this how it will be?

Abortion is 10% of what Planned Parenthood does, what about all the other services they supply? People go there for cancer screenings and diabetic screenings, and these innocent people walk up to PP and get abused because idiots assume they are going for abortions. Planned Parenthood has provided women with support and councelling to make the right decision whether is be adoption or abortion or keeping the child based on whats right for them. It is not Planned Parenthood’s job to help couples to become parents, they offer birth control to prevent pregnancy and the needs to prevent abortions. Using birth control is a part of family planning. When the right time to start a family, how many children can a couple afford, but you don’t have to complete a marriage by having children.

There's always adoption as an option for women who find themselves in situations of unplanned pregnancies. I would like to see more open, racially homogeonous domestic adoptions take place within Western countries. We should not be adopting children from the Third World and disposessing them of their own heritage when there are babies, including unborn ones, here in the West who need the help of loving couples.

As an adoptee in reunion, I have a couple of remarks to make. First, I believe in pro life, but unfortunately, we here in California had to fight them in Sacramento because they are against "open records" for adoption. This was about 15 years ago. I at time when they appeared in the state judiciary hearing against the bill (yes-I was there), I then stopped my financial backing of the pro life movement. Now, I morally just support them. That is too bad, they should of just stuck to their primary objective! Second, as an adoptee in reunion, up until abortion became legal, they used to use adoption as a form of birth control. They still do, but less frequently due to abortion being legal. Third and finally, I have learned about the issues that the vast majority of adoptees carry around with them, and have learned to let most of them go, and am grateful that I am alive, and have and will continue to be a contributing member of society and a citizen in this country. I have and will continue to believe that abortion, except for extreme health concerns for the mother, should be illegal. Thank you for reading my 2 cents.

I went to planned parenthood to confirm my pregnancy in 2013 so I could get insurance. The woman came in the room, looked nervous as hell, I thought at first I had gotten a false positive the month before and that I wasn’t pregnant. She told me I was, and I said oh thank God. She quickly shut the door, looked relieved and told me “I’m so glad to hear that you’re happy about your pregnancy.” I was thinking, how many abortions has this woman scheduled this month? Jeez. Planned parenthood did remove my IUD when my gynecologist refused to do so though.

@Mary it's not a matter or size... the fact is a fetus (who is still young enough to be legally aborted) is not biologically the same as a human being such as the mother, who is being denied HER rights and freedoms when abortion is illegal. Fetuses are not people yet. But how about the 100 million sperm that are denied life when a man ejaculates them into a tissue or condom instead of inside a woman? Are those sperm people as well?

Thank you for walking me through how conception occurs? If it was not clear, my statement about sperm was meant to show how stupid the argument "a person is a person to matter how small" is because obviously and scientifically a sperm is not a person. However to be fair, while I believe that scientifically a zygote, fetus, unborn baby, or whatever you want to call it (before a certain age) is not a person either, that opinion can be subjective. So, aside from the fact a zygote/fetus/unborn baby before 24 weeks has 46 chromosomes (in most cases) tell me why YOU think it should be considered a full, living, human being who "deserves" constitutional rights over the mother's rights. Scientifically, what makes it a human being? I am open to discussing, agreeing with, and accepting scientifically sound opinion/fact. Because the way I see it, a zygote/fetus/unborn baby lacks SO many of the basic functions and characteristics we ascribe to human beings, therefore it is not a human being yet. I never stated it was "potential" life, but rather meant a zygote/fetus/baby has the potential to LIVE (yes, they are alive) outside of womb, but this is all provided nothing goes wrong and they make it past the 24 week mark! Before that, in most cases they cannot live out of the womb. Besides, so much can go wrong during a pregnancy such as miscarriage when the women's body "decides" it is not safe to carry the baby. Mothers should be allowed to make that decision.

Wow how did you know about baby hope(girl), it happened in my neighbourhood and they really had to dig up peoples yards and do the most and she was stuck where they couldnt reach her and many attempts failed but they kept going and everyone came to help it was the worst thing and we were so ashamed that it happend in our area but we will never foget that beautiful lil girl all lives are so precious absolutely.

If they have monthly quotas to meet then they probably are not reliable enough to ensure that the mother is making the right choice emotionally in the initial consultation. There would be a push to probably encourage the abortion which is disgraceful. It is an individuals choice to have an abortion very early in the pregnancy, however, the government shouldn't pay for it.

Linda M Well I am glad that President Trump is doing something about it. Legal abortions in early pregnancy should not be taken away but at the expense of the individual and with proper emotional counseling prior to making a choice. I am from Australia and I was horrified when I found out what was going on. Mid-late term pregnancies should always be pro-life unless medically impossible due to complications that are fatal. Too many babies born prematurely end up living against the bad odds, they deserve the best chance and if not with the biological parents, then with adoptive parents.

James Wilson, one of the signers of the constitution, has said that they discussed at constitutional conventions, when hammering out the constitution, the fact that the right to life (liberty and happiness) included the unborn! Abortion on demand is in fact un-constitutional since it denies the unborn their God given (endowed by our creator) right to LIFE!

I understand the voice of a mother to get rid of her child before the child is borned , bud no one listens to the voice of an unborn child ! (I want to be alive and be a part of society, some day I may become a doctor and save your live ) .

I had two co-workers who had abortions when they were 19 and 20, say they think about that decision everyday and morn their choice of aborting their unborn child. They are now pro-life. I wonder if PP inform them of the PTSD that may occur afterwards?

Abortion will not end, politically, but by changing people's hearts. Very well done movie, full of grace and non-judgmental. I (personally) struggle with the grace part - though I know it is the RIGHT way to approach it. I am a political animal and I think it's also important to remember that it is the DEMOCRAT party that is behind pro-abortion activity. This is a fact: Abortion is the 'sacrament' on the altar to the democrat party. Democrats will NOT tolerate pro-life political candidates. Getting pregnant should be much more complicated. God created all of the biological functions and the humans do not have to do much to get pregnant. This should be different. Getting pregnant should be that difficult that every conceived child is really loved and treated as a treasure and not as garbage.

I was sexually abused and raped by my father at 13 and had to have his baby. My baby has down syndrome and my father continues to abuse me. I work at Wal-Mart making $8 an hour. Can barely provide for my child or pay the bills. Best pro-life decision ever! ...because of Jesus.

I think the jury should still be out on this yet on this woman. I'm not quite sure what her goal is. cuz we cannot forget she was involved in over 2,800 murders. she said so herself. I pray to the Lord that she's telling the truth. I also think it's too early to tell what the motivation is behind this. Why was she not appalled by this the first time she ever saw baby murdered? I know you can forgive, but what about forgetting?

my mom had a miscarriage and when she went into get the baby out of her the doctor called it an abortion instead of calling it what it actually is. My mom cried so hard and the guy immediately apologized for it. A lot of pro choice arguments include miscarriages along with abortions and i just want to say that when a miscarriage happens the mother never wanted her child to die.

Just out of curiosity, when people say they are pro life, are they just referring to unborn babies or does that include all life, like animals? I believe everyone has a right to their own opinions, but I would love to know. I just cant see that someone is pro life and still eats meat and animal byproducts, especially if these creatures were brought into the world just to be treated inhumanely and taken out by humans? Anyways enlighten me! fyi Im all pro life, I just hope the resources out there help new mothers thrive and not lost in the system.

I believe abortion is to easily thrown around. Every action has a reaction and every action has a consequence so people need to think before they act. however abortion should not be entirely denied. Medical well being for both the child and mother should always be considered

I don't think anyone knows how terrifying abortion is. Babies aren't taking about peacefully, they are ripped limb by limb until he/she is out of the woman's body. And the worst part about it is this. Imagine the Washington Monument, now imagine this back to back to back to back all the way down 90 miles and back. For every baby that was aborted since genocide became illegal, and we built a monument for them, we would have 180 miles worth of Washington monuments. I'll let you think.

Well Trump just signed a bill that funded planned parenthood again, and broke my heart!

Help parents choose adoption rather than abortion. Parents do suffer emotionally by ending their unborn child's life through abortion. PP never warns nor mentions this fallout. Adoption is a win-win and provides a future. Mom and Dad are making the most loving choice for their child by utilizing the adoption process. The decision isn't easy but good things are not easy. Otherwise, everyone would be doing it.

Making the decision to have an abortion is a horrible decision to make, and I do believe that women needs choice. BUT I cannot agree with 2/3rd term terminations (especially partial birth abortions) I cannot agree with multiple abortions! In this day and age, Planned Parenthood means "responsibility, moral integrity, personal consciousness AND contraception!!!" With the pill, condoms, caps, morning after pill... there are plenty of options to 'plan your pregnancy"!!!

By her descriptions the clinics seems like a slaughter house! Wondering what uses they do with the "end product"...
