    My 15 year old sister got pregnant, I talked her out of an abortion and adopted that little clump of cells from her. That little clump of cells is now 30 and he and his wife have their own little clump of cells who is three years old now with the face of an angel.

    Im laying in bed 22 weeks pregnant feeling my son kick while im watching this. Im only 19, do you think i have any clue how im gonna raise this baby? Absolutely not. But i do know that even before i saw my first altra sound i knew i loved him more than anything in the world. Yes im scared, but i know we will always have each other. I never in a million years would have thought about giving him up. My mother and father are drug addicts and i had the worst childhood that any child could have. I dont have someone to run to to ask what to do, but i dont care. My sweet innocent little boy is my world. Please dont ever deny yourself this. @@sarakeeet - I’ll agree that a lot of women don’t really want to have an abortion but because of circumstances or pressure from other people they don’t think they have any other choice. There are some women, though, who have abortions like it’s no big deal and they don’t even want to consider alternatives. You said that there are no alternatives. There are other alternatives. A lot of times women don’t know that there are other alternatives and what those alternatives are. Adoption is an alternative. I’m not talking about foster care. I’m talking about private adoption agencies where the waiting lists to adopt an infant have something like 36 sets of available adoptive parents for each infant placed for adoption. The birthmother doesn’t pay anything. The adoptive parents pay the fees. The birthmother can look through profiles and choose which adoptive parents she wants to raise her child. Also semi-open and open adoptions are available. In semi-open, the adoptive parents and birthmother can contact each other through the agency. They don’t know each other’s names, etc. and they don’t meet, but the adoptive parents can send pictures of the child to the birthmother and the adoptive parents and the birthmother can write letters. In open adoption the birthmother and adoptive parents meet. They can keep in touch however they want and can visit. The child is raised knowing the birthmother who is like an extended family member. Also raising the child is an alternative. There are many organizations and individuals who help women with unplanned pregnancies with whatever they need. This help can continue for years sometimes. All assistance is free to the mother. Mothers can get help by ultrasounds, counseling, adoption information, parenting classes, help finding a job, help getting out of an abusive relationship, maternity clothes, baby and toddler clothes, toys, car seats, strollers, cribs, help applying for government assistance programs, and much more. It’s all free. They try to build a relationship with the mother and walk with her through the difficult times. They don’t just hand her a pack of diapers and send her on her way. So there are alternatives even for mothers whose fetuses have received a diagnosis of a fetal anomaly and other difficult situations. There is hope and help. No one should ever have to walk through an unplanned pregnancy alone.

    @@sarakeeet There ARE alternatives. When I was 19, not having turned my life around at that point, I got pregnant again but I vowed to never have another abortion. I was able to get help with housing, food stamps, and Medicaid. The social safety net made abortion unnecessary. The social safety net makes ALL abortions unnecessary. And there is help through churches, as well. Later, after I turned my life around, stopped living so recklessly, and made better life choices, I met a wonderful man whom I married and who adopted my son. We've been married now for a thousand years. I didn't have to be alone, I didn't have to carry the sorrow of destroying one of my children, and my son did not have to grow up fatherless. All because I made different choices. My son is the best thing that ever happened to me. He was the catalyst for my transformation.

  • @AJBeetle1

    @AJBeetle1

    5 жыл бұрын

    @@2LooseScrews I don't believe that abortion should be completely illegal, if that's your question. I'm not American and I've never lived there so I don't know as much about Roe V Wade as others so you might be better asking an American. I live in Australia and the state I am in recently legalised abortion, which I was in support of. I am a medical professional (forgive me for not being more specific but I like my KZread account to remain anonymous) and I believe that legalising abortion doesn't need to go hand in hand with ignoring facts and twisting truths, and encouraging abortion. Our first exchange here is a good example - I say that I think abortion is unnatural and you automatically assume that means that I am a prolifer who thinks all abortion should be illegal. In fact I'm just basing this on my own personal experience and on numerous scientific studies that show mothering instincts begin well before birth. So I stand by my statement that abortion is unnatural. It's as if it's a social crime to state this fact. I dislike this idea that just because it's been legalised we all have to pretend that it's a wonderful thing, that the baby is just a clump of cells and that there's no downside to it. Abortion is pretty horrible and I think the reason there are so many women who regret their abortions in because we lie to them and pretend it isn't a big deal and there will be no negative mental health issues because of it. For some women this is true, but for others they do suffer and I believe that this is medically irresponsible. We shouldn't be messing around with a woman's life like that (or the baby's, for that matter). If she wants to explore abortion as an option then I think it's only fair that she goes into it with her eyes wide open knowing the full facts about her baby's current development and the potential negative health effects it will have on her. There is no other optional medical procedure where people aren't given the full facts, but for some reason with abortion we have banned "trigger" words and have to hide elements of the truth from women. We pretend it's something it isn't and I think this is wrong. So my position is that abortion should be legal, but we should face up to what it really is and not expect women to be emotionless robots when ending a life that is growing inside then which nature has programmed them to protect. Prepare them for the potential mental health issues that will arise by being honest and stop fucking patronising them by not giving them the full story. There's enough instances through history of women not being treated like intelligent adults when it comes pregnancy and childbirth, and I would like the health care industry to move away from that now. We can do better by women as a society by treating them like adults.

I finally participated in a post-abortive support group. So happy I made that choice. Anyone who may be in these comments that has had an abortion and carries with them guilt, numbness, anger, or experiences flashbacks; I encourage you to reach out for healing. There are 20 times more zygotes that were formed intentionally but die before being born than there are zygotes that were formed accidentally and were aborted. The innate collateral loss of zygotes involved with human procreation itself makes the situation non comparable to a born person. To attach responsibility for a life created when no such life can be created without putting that life in excessive mortal danger means that an unborn could never be viewed in the same terms of what is acceptable for a born person.

    Me too.... I regretted the day after. I was young and stupid. Ignorant of my actions and the consequences that affected me and my family. The irony to my story is that while I was growing up I was church going every Sunday and I appreciated life. I trully believed life was precious and I had made up my mind that I was never ever gong to have an abortion when I become an adult. I was 10 years old when I made that decision. I was a young adult in my 20's, and trusted the wrong guy to be married to that made us homeless, jobless, and broke. I was engaged to him and I got pregnant. I gave birth to that baby. While my first born was 5 months pregnant my family could tell that I was pregnant again even though I am like no way...I can't be pregnant. Turns out I was. Though I was pressured to have an abortion to my first pregnancy I said "No it's a sin". With my second pregnancy I was lost. I didn't know how was I going to take care of 2 babies with a fiance who was never honest and trustworthy. He was never able to put his life in order to have a family. So I ended up having the abortion at 5 weeks while my firstborn was 5 months old. After a while I found strength to put an end to this sharade and picked up the pieces of my life. I prayed and begged for forgiveness. God has blessed me with a Godly man in my life that accepted my first born and raised as his own, couple years later we had another child and some years later we had our last baby. Now My firstborn is 21 had an abortion her self and recently had a missed abortion as they call it. I pray that God will make her change her view on abortion...that's why I am pro-life.

    @leisel Santiago what about making all contraceptives available to all kids starting at, let's say, 10 or 11, and having full and complete sex education at the same age with free, easy access, to all birth control pills, condoms, iud's, rings, spermicide foam, everything, again, for free, for everyone, available at school, and at easy to access non profits, all across the country, with teaching children about their bodies starting at about the same age, repeating the education age appropriately, every year, and completely removing religion from the equation so these kids, and eventually adults, don't feel shame regarding their bodies, sex, contraception, and prevention of pregnancy. THAT'S a start. Why not PREVENT the problem before it starts. Most young kids that get pregnant admit that they're either from super religious backgrounds, had zero sex education, or had abstinence only sex education. If it's drugs related, open FREE rehab programs, and again age appropriate education starting at around 10 or 11 continuing every year through age 18. The same way we eliminated small pox, measles, mumps, whooping cough, rubella, etc. It works. Prevention works. Of you allow it to. If JUST that happened, education and free easy accessibility (TO EVERYONE AT EVERY AGE) contraception of all kinds, the rates of anyone wanting/needling abortions would plummet. Ask the countries that do that. THAT'S a start.

    Danielle Rom Along with the education they should also be told that they are not animals in heat who can’t control themselves! Sex is a CHOICE(normally), one that really CAN WAIT until you’re married. I teach my children respect for the spouse of that person. Someday that person will likely marry someone. Do you think it’s right for you to be having sex with that person’s husband or wife? There are also serious, lifelong problems that can occur when you have multiple sexual partners. There’s no shame in waiting until you’re married to have sex. It’s a beautiful and special thing between a husband and wife to know that you are the only one that has been with the other. My husband and I both cherish that fact.

    @@myacrylicjourney624 its also usually not something that can be reasonably expected. In your teen years ALL your hormones are telling you to do its have sex. Yes you can have self control. No you don't need to have sex indiscriminately with everyone you meet. But do you HAVE to wait until marriage? I think that's silly. Sex is a healthy part of a loving relationship when you reach a point in your life where you can handle that responsibility. If you are able to go to a gynaecologist, get on birth control, and have safe sex in a healthy relationship, with an open healthy relationship with your parents, where you are able to ask questions, learn about your own body, learn about what sex is, learn what a yeast infection is, learn what a urinary tract infection is, learn what to do when those things happen. Sex isn't just, marry, missionary, baby, and it never will be. To expect teens not to have sex is entirely unreasonable. If you look at statistics for states that teach abstinence and states that teach birth control, the state's that teach birth control have lower abortion rates. Why would that be? Because those teens are taught how to have safe sex and where to access birth control affordably (usually free), even if they don't have parents they can go to. Heavily religious, abstinence only areas have higher teen pregnancy rates and higher abortion rates. If you really really want to reduce abortion rates - teach safe sex and provide prophylactics. It's been proven to work. Period. Teens should be taught that masterbation is natural and normal and healthy. Sex is something that they will eventually do and there are options. What if you get married, want to have sex, but don't want to have a baby? What if you wait until marriage and find out after you're married that you're not sexually compatible? That might suck a little. "Well work on it". Or you could choose to be with someone you're more sexually compatible with. Won't know unless you try. Better not kiss either. What if she gives you a cold sore? Relax, educate, remove religion from sex entirely, they don't belong together (the bible also explains how to abort a baby, so really don't use that, ew), and hopefully raise informed, healthy young adults. There's no shame in having had more than one sex partner if you're safe. And no you're not an animal in heat if you have a healthy sex drive. Take your teen to a doctor to talk about the physical and medical side and a therapist to talk about the psychological side. I wish I had parents that had done that. I got birth control myself when I was 17, I had safe sex, with the pill and condoms, I learned about my body, I learned what I liked and didn't like, I learned different things from different relationships. Im glad I did. I then got married at 21 and have had an extremely healthy sex life with my husband, which has also been a beautiful thing. Just as beautiful as any other loving physical couple. You're no better than anyone that had multiple sex partners. Have you ever been to a planned parenthood? Do you know that abortions are less than 1% of what they do? This particular woman had the experience she had and for some reason is heavily religious about it. I have to wonder why that is? There's also misinformation here. Planned parenthood isn't an evil organization. They're much more helpful than harmful. They offer free pap smears, free pre-natal care, free birth control, free tests and treatment for STDs (those happen, they'll continue to happen, it's not just kids, most people that contract STDs are adults). This is EXTREMELY one sided. Seek out the other side of the argument. Seek out information and be aware of the sources of that information.

    Danielle Rom Regardless of the perspective you look at it from, sex is meant not primarily for pleasure as you seem to think but for procreation. So you say it is silly, but (respectfully) your perspective seems to be the foolish one. Hence, why waiting until marriage is the more logical choice since sex is not only an expression of love, but love with commitment. So you may have love but when your contraceptives fail (none of them are 100% effective) and a baby is conceived the only thing that will keep that baby alive is commitment, not the hippie love your speaking of (not poking jabs but that is where it came from).

    My oldest son is 20 and he was born at 25 weeks gestation. He was a fully formed baby and even though the doctors told me he wouldn't cry because he can't breathe on his own, he would be 1 pound 10 oz. If I was lucky and more then likely he wouldn't survive. The second they pulled him out he cried, he was 2 pounds 5 1/2 oz. And he is now 20 years old. I was 16 when I had him, we spent 14 weeks in the NICU but we did it. If I can do it at 16 anyone can do it and if not there are people who will. I then had 3 misscarages over the years and the doctors said we couldn't have kids. Well thank God we have our miracle, and then I got pregnant again. The doctors said your gonna miscarry like before so let's just do it I said no. Then at 21 weeks my testing came back higher then normal for down syndrome so I had to have more testing. Now we had already decided that we we're having testing only to be prepared. I didn't care that my son, yes we knew he was a boy, might have downsyndrome, and we told them that. I swear they told me at least 100 more time just know that if the test comes back positive byou have until 24 weeks to terminate. Are you kidding me? This baby feels, I can poke him and he will kick me, he jumps when there is a loud noise. How do they not feel. Come on people. If you don't want a baby use protection. It's not that hard. Originally, Planned Parenthood used to be the American Birth Control League as the founder Margret Sanger never intended her clinic to offer abortion services. Back in the 1920s, birth control was illegal and she fought for the rights of married couples to have access to birth control, as she has witness women who had committed abortions on them selves, causing many death among them selves. It was during the time of the depressions and women could no longer afford to have any more children. As a nurse, she worked with a doctor to help women who commited abortions on them selves. That is what she started the American Birth Control League. But sadly many christians hate her for promoting birth control.

While she may not have offered abortion services, she very much overlooked them when they did happen and thought it was "okay". She may not have been the one holding the bloody knife but she did set the stage for it to happen. Sanger is in the same league as Hilter, they had the same ideals when it came to race just different ways of killing people, need to keep the world pure you know. By far Sanger's method has proven the most effective with people accepting abortion as normal, Hitlers Regime killed in total around 18 million, include Stalin in that to add another 5-6 million for approximately 24 million people dead. Abortion alone has killed over 60 million in the United States alone since 1973, 1.1 BILLION world wide. And yes I can lay that at Sangers feet, it was her example that started the ball rolling.

That was why she founded the American Birth Control League, to educated many of the poor women to learn about artificial birth control. Regardless of how safe and advanced abortion procedures were, Margaret Sanger never felt that abortion was safe. Far as the other false rumors that you have mentioned, I heard the same from angry ProLife christians, because she lead the path to women towards the birth control movement and as you know, many ProLife are against any forms of artificial birth control. Yes, I have done my research and the comment is about a breaf history of what became Planned Parenthood. I know that many of you angry ProLife Christians wants to make up stories and false assumptions, just because women today can now choose to have children or not have children. Brought back a couple bad memories for me and I'm wrecked. I'm not a crier about much, though I feel things very deeply. But the murder of my babies and my participation in it is always difficult to re-live. My first one, I had no clue, wasn't ready to be a mom, didn't even really like kids, and was told it's just tissue, not a baby yet. Wrong. I was medicated enough to not feel too much pain, so there was no explanation for the abject terror and heart wrenching loss, and anguish I felt as though someone had murdered my child right in front of me unless it was not "just tissue". I had a miscarriage my second pregnancy at about 6 weeks and yes, it was painful, as it was ectopic, but I was at home alone when the "tissue" passed. This was confusing, because it did indeed look like a blob of tissue. I felt that loss almost as profoundly as the first one. The third pregnancy, my second abortion, I asked again about tissue vs baby. I knew better, but was trying to fool myself. I actually told the doctor to stop. I knew he hadn't actually started yet, but he got up in my face and said if I didn't stay still and quiet, he wouldn't be held responsible for ripping up my uterus. I wasn't successful and he did scar me up pretty badly. I was told later on that I wouldn't be able to carry a baby to term if I were to get pregnant again. I don't know that I've ever made the sound that I did during those losses. And I know I have never felt such a loss so deeply. It's very different from not witnessing the passing of a loved one or even the loss of a beloved pet. This was a severing of a connection of two souls that was immediately felt. I've been forgiven and accepted that forgiveness, though I can remember it like it just happened. It's forever seared into my whole being. I thank God that he blessed me with a beautiful, inside and out, healthy, intelligent daughter a few years later. I applaud you, Abby, for speaking out about this, though I have no idea how you maintain your poise.

    Being honest comes first - not sex, boys and girls...Grow up so you can act responsibly whenever a pregnancy occurs (naturally). Artificial birth control is never 100% and is actually immoral whether you're married or not, so commitment and a genuine relationship matters the most. Marriage is not supposed to be temporary BECAUSE of the 'family' aspects (by design) - and living together (as a 'test run'), 'hooking up' or dating for months or years while behaving as if you are married does not encourage people to mature or even get to know each other well. Look at the wreckage since the 1960s - and the explosion of STDs as well as in deaths by abortion, abuse, etc. Shouldn't we all be doing much better, if we're all so smart now?

    She's right toward the end there about people changing their minds. I was extremely pro-choice, and I changed my mind... big time. And I was mostly 'converted' to the pro-life side by the time I got pregnant the first time myself and then I lost my baby at about 13 weeks. I saw what she looked like. At that point, that was the end of any "exceptions" or anything like that for me. It was just so traumatizing seeing her and realizing just how undeniable it is that that is a human being. I obviously knew that already, but it's something else when you see it in person. Also, someone very close to me used to be pro-choice as well and actually paid for one for someone once and this person feels extremely guilty about it now and is very much pro-life. So, lots of people out there are changing their minds. So pro-lifers, don't get discouraged. Sometimes it seems like we're not getting anywhere, but that's the thing. You're not really going to realize someone changed their mind, they just quietly appear among the pro-lifer and you think they have always thought that way when they actually used to be pro-abortion.

    @Kelly Targett The alternatives to abortion are common knowledge: giving up the baby for adoption, or accepting the new role as parent and raising the child. Since PP isn't an adoption agency, they should not be expected to act as one. What they do that is key is providing contraception and education about this, to prevent accidental pregnancies from happening to begin with.

  • @2LooseScrews

    @2LooseScrews

    5 жыл бұрын

    @Kelly Targett to examine your argument further - a 'young confused teen' (whom we could presume to be pregnant) could either want the baby or not. If she actually wanted the baby, then she could try and persuade the father-to-be to marry her, and start a family with her. If that wasn't feasible, then she could either have and raise the baby alone (or with help from her family), or give it up for adoption. If she chooses to terminate the pregnancy, that is likely because it's simply the most convenient solution to her situation. Consider the fact that something like 1 in 3 of all women have a pregnancy terminated at one time in her life. That speaks less to the morality of abortion (which is obvious a matter of controversy) than to it's convenience. With that said, I haven't seen that October baby flick, and I also wish you a good night Kelly.

    zzevonplant The United States has had a major shift in the last few years. Before, most people were pro choice, but now it’s an even split. Most of the change has been young people, who are more prolife than any generation in a long time. There’s also a growing movement of agnostic and atheist prolifers. "At a time when America is debating how far we can push abortion laws - sometimes even up to the point of birth - this story flips the whole debate upside-down. Think about it: Over half a dozen rescue workers in South Africa spent hours digging and searching in a storm drain, and then called a helicopter, to save a baby that clearly was not wanted. Had the baby not survived, the whole mission would have been considered a failure. When it comes to these types of situations, we always give life the benefit of the doubt. If someone is trapped in a building that has caught fire, firefighters don’t stop and debate if the person is worth saving. They rush into the burning building, putting their own lives at risk, to save the other. In fact, they would get in trouble if they didn’t act. But when it comes to abortion, we suspend this sense of urgency to protect life. We turn it into a debate about when a life becomes worth saving. This logic falls apart quickly when you ask: What is the difference between a fully-formed baby who is a few inches away inside the mother’s womb, and a three-day-old baby who is 20 feet underground in a storm drain? For me, there’s only one clear choice in this debate: We must protect life, in all its forms and stages. From the womb all the way to the tomb, life is inherently valuable. It’s a holy gift from God." --Fox Opinion Article Feb. 22, 2019

    Renee Henderson What in the world??? How did Jesus wreck your heart? That's not even scriptural. He doesn't wreck hearts. Am I to assume that you are an "evangelical" (they tend to be overly emotional, IMO)? Also, how do you know that abortion breaks Jesus' heart? There's no place in the Bible that says that "the products of conception" (e.g. morula, blastocyst, embryo, fetus) are given a soul (which is what makes us "in the image of God"). In fact, the Bible actually tells us that God breathes in the soul at birth, not while "it" is in the womb, just as He did w/ Adam & Eve. As a fyi, I'm a Christian. I'm anti-abortion (except under certain conditions), & I'm pro-human life.

    I know two women personally who have lost their children, one of them a little baby girl lost while still in the womb after a critical car wreck, and another lost a little two-year-old boy in a house fire. It's been a truly devastating year for those families. However at the same time, my uncle's wife just had her baby, and about two weeks ago my sister in law had her little baby boy, AND my sister is due in the next couple of months! It really gets you thinking about the existence of life and the importance of life. It gets you thinking about how beautiful these lives are and how beautiful they can become. My uncle and his wife almost lost their baby due to nutrition complications and it could've easily been a devastating time for my relatives - but guess what, they have their beautiful little baby now and they had it even throughout those scary complications. That's true love and power and the beauty of life. Thank God for the gift he has given women, the ability to conceive and nurture a child up until birth - and men for the ability to assist and be there when the woman cannot, It's truly a holy and wonderful thing.

Some of them become doctors and other great things. Lots of babies are gifts from god including those conceived out of rape. UPDATE: I am leaving the original post in honor of several wonderful people I know who were conceived in rape and now they fight the battle to save the lives of other preborn babies. I accidentally found my biological father through a home DNA test. He is deceased but I spoke to his sister (my aunt) and my half-brother and they both assure me that I was NOT conceived in rape. They told me what they thought happened and it rings true. My birthmother said rape to the adoption agency, her mother, and her husband at the time. It makes sense. She was trying to protect herself. The reality is that I was conceived in an affair or a one night stand. I’m leaving the original post because I feel it has value. The fact is that even though I was not conceived in rape, she still had many “reasons” why she could’ve aborted me. But she didn’t. I was conceived in rape, just like Abby’s son Jude. My birthmother let me live and then placed me for adoption because she was not in a good place in her life and couldn’t raise me. So when people say that victims of rape and incest should abort their babies it makes me angry and sad. I would not be here except for the fact that my mother didn’t choose to kill me. According to the world, she had many reasons to abort me. Thank God she didn’t.

    Unless it’s prevention through avoiding sex until marriage and avoiding marriage until you have thoroughly vetted a man to make sure he will care for you and any children conceived then it’s hardly “family planning”. Planned Parenthood gets away with it because they and unfortunately most people view sex as supposed to be separate from procreation so we “need” birth control and condoms because we “can’t” help ourselves from having sex. There are people who have said PP has given gem expired pills and condoms before. Know that the only “family planning” they care about is really “get pregnant and hen give us money to kill it because kids aren’t good”. If we taught men to respect themselves and women and children enough to wait for marriage and women the same, then abortions, “unwanted pregnancy”, std rates, assault, and many other relationship problems would go away. Rather than worrying about “am I pregnant” you can focus on your studies and getting to know someone as well as possible before deciding if you are willing to give them your body for life. Sex IS meant to be good. But not all sex is good. If we teach people to set themselves up for success then it reduce the chance of women ending up with deadbeats who treat women like “scores” and men ending up with women who don’t respect them and will divorce at a whim. We shouldn’t need to have sex to know if it’s “the right person”, after all we can love our parents, children, siblings, and friends without having sex with them. Think about how well you know your sibling, parent , or friend. Do you want to marry someone like them? Then talk about big issues and small like children, politics, how they treat their parents, how the women in the family are treated, are they abusive, do they keep a job or do they get fired a lot, are they willing to find better work to care for a family, do they watch porn, do they “need” sex before marriage, etc. That’s family planning. Family planning starts WELL before you get pregnant and it should start before you enter a relationship.

    @@timefoolery When a person gets an abortion, they can choose to donate the aborted fetus to medical research. All abortion clinics, Planned Parenthood or not, provide this option. However, preserving and transporting the delicate tissue is an expensive operation. The research clinics who receive the tissue pay for the preserving and transporting - they do not pay for the actual tissue itself. This is exactly the same as with any donated tissue, such as, say, a heart. This is ONLY when the recipient of her abortion signs a declaration that they would like tissue used for further medical research, which PP gets NO money for, all costs are paid for by the hospital or medical research facility, and still only in cases where all parties agree to this in order to further research in areas like stem cells. You're omitting some important information, pro or anti, that info is still important. You're making it sound like they murder babies and sell their bodies. There's no "sale". Please complete research before stating half truths.

    When I was little and I would hear the story of Sampson and Delilah, I could not understand why Sampson didn’t leave Delilah alone! I would think “Can’t you see she’s trying to kill you?!” And then, when he finally told her the truth! WHY?! But he was deceived. He couldn’t see the truth right in front of him. It was as if there was a screen covering his mind from the truth, even though it was screaming at him. That’s how Abby was.

    I think if my husband tried to kill me a couple of times by betraying me to an army...I would have not much trouble recalling it.🤔😶That part has always puzzled me as well. "Let God be true, but every (wo)man a liar..." ~Romans 3:4

    hi Abby, thank you for your testimony "there is more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous who have no need to repent" Luke 15:7

    Luke thinks they are keen on math in heaven, good to know. Why ninety-nine ? did they already have the decimal system in heaven ?

    original Greek is ἐνενήκοντα ἐννέα (ninety nine) unlike your good self, the people of the day were so sophisticated that they used tally marks (based on fives) as well as decimal, duodecimal , vigesimal and sexagesimal systems in parallel @@bulletanarchy6447

    It's amazing to me that anyone would think she is lying. The idea that their God of child sacrifice could be taken away from them is so hateful to them that they aren't even willing to humble themselves and consider the idea that she is telling the truth. That she is actually trying to help save us from ourselves and our blood lust and selfishness. We need voices like hers who have been there and seen the evil around us. Let us hear and repent and change our hearts before it's too late.
