John Daedalus sociology is a science involving the study of the societal manifestations of sex (a biological term), which we call gender, but gender itself isn’t an objectively defined scientific term. Therefore it is absurd when people say that bill nye is wrong because “biology says their are two genders” or something. Hell, even biology doesn’t say that there are exclusively two sexes, let alone genders.

no. Yes it is a form of life just like that bacteria on mars that you love to preach about. However, bacteria only needs one cell to be considered life and all animals are eukaryotes meaning that they need to be multicellular. So yes, a fetus is what is known as “cellular life” but that it completely different from a developed human. The fetus doesn’t have a developed centralized nervous system until 26 weeks meaning that it cannot feel emotion and it cannot feel pain in the way that a developed animal does. It feels pain in the same way that a plant does, it can sense it, but doesn’t have the nerves to feel it. So why should we put the well bring of an emotionless, numb, clump of cells over that of a developed woman?

Geralt of Rivia yes, obviously it is a very complex topic but going down a different route of why abortions should be legal, roughly 68,000 women die each year from unsafe/at home abortions and about 5 million injure themselves each year with unsafe abortions. Additionally, countries where abortion is illegal have roughly the same amount of abortions yearly as countries where abortions are legal. The only difference between abortions being legal and them being illegal is the safety aspect. Abortions are inevitable and if someone knows that they cannot keep their child for whatever reason that may be, they will find a way to get rid of it whether that be going to a clinic and having a safe procedure done, or almost overdosing on pills and ending up in the hospital, people will always find a way which is why making abortions illegal does much more harm than good.

The slogan"Life begins at conception" is fundamentally incorrect. As a basic science fact, life is a perpetual relay of living cells forming more living cells, it doesn't begin from something that is not alive and become something that is alive other than theoretically 3.8 billion years ago. In scientific categorisation you can say genetic identity is complete at conception but also you can say reproduction is complete at birth ergo what are you reproducing if not a human being ? Genetically reproductive cells have already altered and developed into a form with the purpose of becoming a new human being before conception, their DNA is already unique before conception. There is no scientist that coined the phrase "Life begins at conception." It is an activist slogan asserting that the ownership of life begins at fertilisation which is an entirely contestable claim.

Let me help you because I know exactly what you will say. 1) It is not your body, as stated it is a unique individual and if for instance your fetus has a penis does a mother then also have a penis? 2)financial difficulty does not justify murder, I can’t kill people because I am low on cash, and 3) yes the burden lies with women, sexual dimorphism unfortunately places the entire burden of child caring and birth on the female sex, it is an incredible burden and feminists should be absolutely defending that burden by encouraging more maternity rights in relation to earning wages and other related issues, not how you should be able to murder babies because that is “for women.” Did I miss anything?

I'll give you an argument. Why do you think that women get abortions? Women get abortions because they cannot afford to raise the baby, or are simply not physically or mentally ready for it yet, among other reasons. So these children you claim to love so much will be harmed more emotionally and physically by bad financial situations and inept parents, than any abortion possibly could cause.

So basically, what you're saying is? If the nazis only killed jewish men then only men should have a say in it?

Or... You can stop having unprotected sex, or try abstinence. Sex comes with a consequence, don't kill someone for your mistakes, try abstinence and we wouldnt (for the most part) have this problem.

I can't speak for everyone of course, but the only time I'd ever even give a second of thought to an abortion was if there was a severe complication in the pregnancy that threatened the life of the mother. it just seems abhorrent to me that anyone would do this for a much lesser or trivial situation.

why pro lifers should shut the fuck up - a guide for the absent-minded and hypocrites - no one is being murdered, retrieving a clump of cells from a body isn't murder. sure, it would have been an potential life, however it isn't - "but there is a heartbeat at seven weeks' ' the clump of cells isn't even fully formed yet, it doesn't have any limbs or genitals, it isn't an person. stop thinking with your emotions. - now let's invent someone, someone who isn't a minor, doesn't have health issues, and wasn't sexually assaulted. someone who simply wasn't ready or did not want a child. - let's say the person who carries the baby goes through with the pregnancy, a life changing event: they will go through months of pain, tumultuous hormones changes that will affect their lives forever, and much more. - after a few months, the baby is arriving! the carrier will have to go through hours of painful labour (where they might die must i add) in order to deliver the baby! what a beautiful moment, right? - this is where most of you will stop. no regard for the baby, or the person who delivered. suddenly, no one cares anymore. the baby is born, that's all that matters right! - no. these two lives are now changed forever. - lets start with the child, which most pro-lifers claim to care about too much. that kid will either end up in foster care, in an adoption center, dumped in a ditch, or with their parent. let’s evaluate each option, shall we? - foster care: ah where shall i begin. to keep it very concise: the foster care system is utterly fucked. it is not beneficial whatsover to the kids that are thrown into it. if you actually gave a single fuck about these kids, you would DO something to change the system, do something to better the lives of these kids that are being molested, raped, abused more often than not. but of course, none of you care. - adoption centers: a little better than the foster care system but still as fucked. you could make your own research about it but! wait! none of you care! how surprising! - dumped in a ditch: pretty self-explanatory - with their parent: ah the ultimate and seemingly best option! but .. it seems like you have forgotten something you silly little goose: the parent did not want that child to begin with! i wonder what that might result in... i have a few answers for you! - resentment - which causes anger - which causes abuse - that might be physical, verbal, or emotion - now you might say: "hey zion! thats not fair dude! what if they end up loving their kid" - to that i say, it is possible, however it is very rarely the case. - now that we talked about the potential child, let's talk about the few outcomes the parent might face: post-partum depression, lifelong physical changes, possible health complications - post-partum depression: - post-partum depression: ppd is a complex mix of physical, emotional, and behavioral changes that happen in some women after giving birth. according to the DSM-5, a manual used to diagnose mental disorders, ppd is a form of major depression that begins within 4 weeks after delivery. i don't know if any of you have been depressed, but it is an extremely difficult experience to go through. with a baby, it makes the experience even more difficult. but again, i doubt that any of you would care about the mother but i shall continue - lifelong physical changes: simply research physical changes after pregnancy and try to put yourself in the shoes of a person who didn't want ANY of this, having to go through it. having to watch their bodies change forever. fun ! - possible health complications: i could say so much but again, i encourage research. oh wait! pro-lifers have never heard that word in their life! silly me! - ever thought about why that person wouldn't want to have a kid? here are a few options: lack of financial support, partner left them or died or they simply were not ready for a kid - financial support: so many of you underestimate what being raised in poverty does to a person. it is traumatizing. if you actually cared about children, you would want them to grow up in a stable home - absent partner: shoutout to all the single parents, they are remarkable. however, it is incredibly hard. hard cannot begin to cover how exhausting being a parent is. - not ready for a kid: a very valid reason to get an abortion because *every child deserves a parent, but not every parent deserves a child* - not all of us are meant to be parents. - all that to say, being pro-life in inherently pathetic, selfish and hypocritical. none of you actually care about kids or the parent. stop pretending that you do.

Eg that most unwanted children are abused which i'm willing to bet is far from the truth and that abuse has little if not nothing to do with whether or not you were an unplanned baby and more to do with the kind of parent to begin with. The scenario you gave is also filled with exaggerations and extreme generalizations. Like what you said about foster care which i imagine is based in one or two headlines you read. Now, where do i begin... First off, your first argument is based on an incomplete interpretation of pro-lifer's potential life argument. Let me use this simple rhetoric to make you understand: Imagine one of your family members goes into a coma, the doctors are certain they will make it but they say they must be in an induced coma for 9 months. They are not aware nor conscious at the moment, however they will be in 9 months. Would it then be morally acceptable to kill them for idk, inheritance money? should it not be considered a crime because they were unconscious and completely unfeeling/unaware? Secondly, as for the consequences it could have on a woman's body: Most aren't incurable lifelong consequences as you claim, some can be fixed with plastic surgery (which in the case of rape i would suggest the rapist pays for aswell as several more reparations for mental health both for the rape itself and for post-partum mental health problems, easier fix than killing babies), and when the consequences are infact incurable they are extremely rare and not worth killing 2500 babies a day for.

@@martbarnav1787 I would say it is logical that an unplanned baby is more likely to be abused as an inconvenience but I would agree that it is a long way from certainty. Coma analogies are very poor, to compare a born person with memories and history to an unborn that's sentience has yet to exist is appalling rhetoric, who's body is a person in a coma inside ? A life support machine doesn't get pregnant and it doesn't make the decision to switch itself off. An unborn has yet to become a separate organism which means it has yet to be an organism which by categorisation means it has yet to be a human being. A woman will conceive on average 10 zygotes in her lifetime 2.4 will be born 0.4 will be aborted. They are aborted for a reason so obviously yes it is worth it.

I genuinely don’t want to start an argument, merely just a conversation. So to anyone who wants to have one with me- I believe that the fetus is a living being, it’s living the second it because created in the womb. There’s information, DNA, all woven together. But, I don’t understand why abortion… happens- like okay. I do. Don’t get me wrong now. There have been some cases where the human female body cannot survive with the fetus inside of her. Something is physically wrong with her body, or it poses her life to be at risk if she births the child. So yes- sometimes abortion is necessary. And ignoring possibilities of forced pregnancies because that’s a topic on its own- Why do some females put themselves at risk of having a child? If they aren’t ready for that step in life, or ready to be mature enough to raise a child, to care, to also be stable enough to care for another being, why put yourself in a situation where you risk that possibility? I don’t understand it. Sex is, by nature, a way we can multiply. Yes it can be pleasurable- but again, down to its roots, it’s for use humans to not go extinct lol. So why go through situations like this where you may have to end a life? Why cause this whole discussion of seeing abortion as a good thing, if having an addiction to sex is seen as a bad thing. Isn’t that a bit contradictory? Sorry if I rambled, but to anyone wanting to answer my question I’m all ears 💕

1. I believe that the fetus is a living being, it’s living the second it because created in the womb. There’s information, DNA, all woven together. A. OK. You wrote living being, which is OK. Just note that "human being" has a special legal definition that can be found at 1 USC 8 . It is OK to say a human fetus, or human embryo, but a "human being" means that it has already been born alive. A lot of people want to write "baby" but I generally point out that the term is vernacular and is not a medical, biological, or legal term. I generally try to use terms from science or law. For the rest of the post, let me start by pointing out that people are not rational. Of course we have our big brain that allows us to have rational moments, but that is a rather recent development in our evolutionary history. At a more primal level we are driven by biological urges. You see this anytime people get aggressive when they are hungry (hangry). It is a biological trigger to get something to eat. We have those same type of biological triggers for sex. You might ask why people don't work on contraception. There are contraception failures, but for the most part people are not rational, and some are stupid.

You raise some good points and there is more information available of those things you are not sure about. A human fetus is not created in the womb it develops from an embryo at about 8 weeks after conception it is considered a fetus. There is a scientific definition of how the 8 weeks is calculated but I won't bother going into that right now. A physical medical problem with a pregnancy can occur, every pregnancy is potentially fatal but death in child birth is quite rare these days. There is a notable condition called an ectopic pregnancy tends to need to be terminated. Conditions for when abortion is acceptable is what Roe V Wade decided was just not practical to have. What probability of death is acceptable to abort Does a rape victim have to get a conviction to be allowed to abort ? Taking away the right to privacy means these questions are again relevant and there are not good answers. Human beings do more than just functionality, that's what makes us different from an amoeba. I don't know what you mean by an addiction to sex so I don't know if that is a bad thing. Different people have different arguments, Pro choice are not following a hymn sheet

The fact of the matter is that fetuses don't have sentience until later in gestation. Nerve connectivity, brain activity, the ability to feel pain, etc etc. And most abortions happen during the first/early second trimester, before any of that happens. Unless there's a serious problem, wherein the mother may die due to complications of the pregnancy, late term abortions are rare. If people did more research, this wouldn't even be a debate.

What he meant to say is that women who want to get abortion don't like abortion either but they are getting it for a reason which will complicate both her and her childs life if she is forced to carry full term

Hypothetically speaking, what if your wife were pregnant and at her decision, let's say just prior to delivery, she said "kill it ". I suppose he'd be just fine with that? Like flushing dirty toilet paper?
