    Sam, thanks for the information on the hood that is found on the FAE shredder. You cannot really tell that the FAE has an adjustable hood because there is no visible ram--it’s a chain mechanism on the inside--but it works, as you say to put the chips where you want them. Great videos--I learn things every time I tune in. Thank you!

    Robert Cotrell JR a while back, Sam checked out an ASV unit and between not being used to the suspension design, the terrain and or the controls he was bouncing around in that rig more than the TL12, not sure why and only have two or three videos from inside a skid steer from Sam.

    Robert Cotrell JR Are you looking for a new machine? I’m a DIY land owner looking to add a skid steer to my tool box. I have several friends operating Cat299’s, ASV RT120’s. Not sure where you are located or if you have local options to check out a few different machines like I did, I think you will find the TL12 a very nice unit. I do not have a lot of experience and am not a pro, but I do ask a lot of questions and am looking to make an informed decision when buying equipment. I am not done with my research, probably never will be🙄. Try as many machines as you can and see what they do best for what your needs are.

    Put some Dawn dish soap in a spray bottle with some water, mix it up and spray where hydraulic fluid hit the paint. That will stop the hydraulic fluid from rusting out your paint so quickly.

  • @kurtistamsing607

    @kurtistamsing607

    5 жыл бұрын

    Matt J you can go to your local dealer and ask them for a debris kit. You will need to flip your cab to install. It’s all 2 way tape style foam and rubber. Also where the hydraulic hoses come out to your drive motors you can use house spray foam and spray them in that gap. Let it foam up and dry then cut remaining.

    You did a good job mate but you could have done that job with the excavator by itself by stacking all the timber and burning it all. Ends up being better for the ground than mulch. Forestry is so expensive to buy/run/maintain. Excavator with grab isnt too bad.
