There are little icons on the top you can click on and an additional one to add or remove certain items. Very detailed. I actually like it a bit more than FSX Play to be honest.

Thanks for doing a side by side comparison. I was not sure what the upgrade consisted of prior to this video but you definitely cleared that up for me. I plan on getting the upgrade now as it just looks so much cleaner! Thanks again!

FYI, the misread /shot not registered on your 8 iron around 27:08 mark- if you look down on the GC3 it was blinking fast. That means you had the ball out of the hitting area.

I saw that on the replay as well. Figured I had done something as there really is no misreads with the device without human error for the most part. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for taking the time to make this video. It was very helpful. I have all 3 versions of SW, starting from the very 1st CD based software, which I still use a lot because it loads so much faster and the club data displays in a way I prefer over 2020. They flip-flopped everything when they went to 2020. A question I have for you is regarding Commentator sounds. I know you can turn them off (which a lot of people due after they get tired of hearing "Hookylow" over and over, but did they add any new sounds, or new commentator options with FSXPlay?

This one seems a lot more polished anyway. I'm not sure on the commentator sounds unfortunately. I only had it for a week and really didn't notice the commentator with the FSX software. My apologies on that but maybe worst case scenario you can just turn that off if needed.

Do you know how to change between players on FS play? It was easy on fsx 2020

Thanks for all of your videos! Late to the party…just bought a BLP and am gearing up for FSX 2020/FSX Play. You may not recall at this point, but what GPU were you running the software on? I’m looking at picking up a PC - I won’t be projecting anytime soon, so it will be on a small monitor or laptop monitor so I’m not looking for 4K on the highest graphics settings - I just want a smooth experience. I have a GC3 with the FSX 2020 software and mainly use it for practice. I like the camera integration for swing analysis and club and ball data it provides. I can also get FSX Pro for free which I have on my iPad and plan to load on my desktop when I have my simulator set back up over the winter. Between the two I get plenty in the way of swing analysis. The FSX Play would be a $500 upgrade for me so wondering if it provides anything more than FSX 2020 or FSX Pro that would make it worth the $500. I don't really play courses so for me that is not really a decision point. Nice job with the comparison.

Thanks for watching. My advice at least as of the time of the video would be if you only want the software for practice and not for simulation, then in all honesty I actually liked the driving range and data better on FSX 2020 than I did on FSX Pro. I don't feel it is worth the upgrade otherwise unless for sim purposes and in that case it is totally worth the money. Hope this helps!

It was through a company called Golf Linx which apparently is no longer around or restructuring their business unfortunately.

Do you need those stickers on your club in order to actually play the simulator? Or is it just for data. Thanks

Hello, I just got the GC3 but the distance seems off by like 20 yards from outdoor. Do you have that problem?

Make sure you have your elevation set accordingly to where you are located. Second, is this your first simulator or have you had one before? I am curious how used to swinging indoors you are. There is such a thing as Indoor Swing Syndrome that will affect you for a bit if you are not used to it until you get acclimated and more comfortable indoors. Let me know when you have a minute.

@@GarageGolf Thanks for replying. I tried with Barometer on and off, same results. Definitely missing 15-20 yards with irons and 30+ with woods and driver. Not sure what's it. I need to take it outside and test.

Unfortunately there is still no news on when it will be accessible on the Launch Pro at this time. If and when I get news on this I will release it on a video for everyone just to update as well. Do you own LaunchPro at this time?

I own a BLP and I’m on fxs 2020. I play one or two shots on the course and it freezes or it completely kicks me out the app on to the desktop screen. I’ve called customer support. Spent hours on the phone to no avail. I’m going crazy being that I can’t play a full hole. It connects and runs great on FX pro but I get tired of just hitting balls. Would you know of anything that would help me out connecting this?

@@leonj2297 Sounds very strange Leon. Do you have a warranty on the unit? If so I'd file a claim on it right away. It should not be doing that especially with tech support not being able to figure out why it is doing that as well. Also, I know you already paid for FSX but consider possibly looking into GSPRO as an alternative. Maybe you wont have the same issues and they are a lot cheaper for more punch in my opinion. Sorry I can't be of more assistance but I would demand they replace that unit if they cannot figure it out on their end.

In the right situations just like in real life it is possible if the spin numbers are correct.
