Windows (C: Program Files(x86) Foresight Sports Experience Components Right click on Simulator Setup Tool and run as administrator. The Stock Values we use are as follow: Image Width: 14.00ft Image Height: 9.00ft DZ:10.00ft DX:1.50ft DY:0.00 Aizmuth:0.00 You will want to adjust the DX value until it aims where you like. Bumping the Dx + moves it right, bumping - moves it left. Let me know how you make out, when I get time I may make a video to help others. Make sure you run the Simulator Setup Tool as administrator, without FSX software running. You may have to reboot your PC

This is helpful to see as I compare GCQ with a TM. Even with all this functionality, you would think they could create a more robust, pretty range ala TM. It seems so easy to do.

I agree, I just about went the TM route because of some of their software. But when you compare GC vs TM there are too many pros to pass up on with the Foresight products. GCQuad aka the trackman dominator

@@sklebeck interesting. I’m comparing right now for a potential buy (need to build a room first). Right now TM has the lead. The software and game improvement aspects beat out the only real con I see which is the line of sight/needing more room. What concerns me about GCQ is the fact it’s in front of ball (while I know robust worries about it getting hit), less ideal for left and right players at same time. Why do you think gcq is a Tm killer?

​@@cbwagner7269 you are correct on the right and left player inconvenience, TM wins there but loses in the indoor environment. Very important that you watch the below video link I've provided you before you make your decision. Hands down in a indoor sim bay the GCQuad is untouchable. GCQ measures club data, while TM calculates based on the volumetric centre of the golf club, in summary not as accurate as a quadrascopic camera GCQuad using pictures from 4 cameras at 6000 FPS per camera. If your main use of the launch monitor is for indoor course play, stay away from the radar based products. You will regret it, if your main use is purely outdoors the TM4 will be a nice launch monitor for you. If putting and overall club data is important, again GCQuad wins by a land slide. Please watch the video and make an informed decision, either way TM4 or GCQuad are great products, but it all depends on what your using it for. watch the ball flight on the TM4 during course play indoors. My opinion it is very sub-standard. Because the radar is calculating the ball looks straight and then a frame changes and a big fade is shown kzread.info/dash/bejne/jK1517xunNapqMo.html

Hey Eric, The left corner screen isn't an option from the FSX software. Its video software from OBS. When you use OBS you can choose what video capture device or monitor to display, and where you want it located in the PIP. obsproject.com/

I just subscribed to your channel and have watched this video 4 times. It has a lot of great information. My FSX software won’t allow me to change locations on the driving range, chipping or putting range. Is the because I have a GC3 or is there a software setting I’m missing ?

I appreciate the support Dave. There is no setting to turn on to allow you to move around on the Foresight driving range accept for having the mini map on. All movements are made by clicking on the mini map. If you're using FSX2020 there is no reason you can't do the same, it shouldn't have anything to do with the launch monitor model.

Thanks great vid. U ever play with a lefty How hard is it to swap back & forth? Can u have the lefty play the whole hole out then switch back or do u have to move gc back and forth between every shots... (when playing a golf rd) Would love option say 4 guys one lefty have him finish the hole then have the rest of us play... Or is there a continuous play option? Thanks

it is a bit of a pain in the ass switching from left to right especially if your lefty isn't a good golfer. Just when you think the right hand player is up and the quad is moved back to the right side, you realise the left player is first for whatever reason that you didn't realise. If all golfers are fairly good, switching back and forth is only inconvenient for the owner doing it. Make sure you have a rectangle mark on the mat both sides so you don't need the alignment stick for each move. I've never found away to play out the lefty all the way before the other players and would have to say that option doesn't exist, but not 100% certain. My solution for this problem is to not invite my one left handed friend for course play, but he does use the quad for practice regularly.

@@shanemckee1721 thanks for the question. The GC Hawk is the solution to this problem if you haven't purchase your launch monitor yet. The GCHawk is the best of both worlds for online course play using left and right handed players

For your club faces, don't spend the big $$ on the little tabs!!! Buy this tape, works great, 3M - 1/2-50-3430(PK 2) 3430 White Micro Prismatic Sheeting Reflective Tape 0.5" Width x 50 yd Length (Pack of 2). Will last you a lifetime.

How do you punch the dots? Do you use a hole punch. What’s it like to peel the paper off the back of a small dot?

@@sklebeck ​ @sklebeck ...well, peel it first or simply cut off 1/4 of an inch from the end of the tape, peel off the backing to expose the sticky side and apply to the club. So instead of rounds you have rectangles. Just like the rectangles that are left after you have pulled the dot off of the original ones from Foresight. Those little rectangles are the same material as the dot and are reflective. Tried the Bushleague Launch Pro, a really bad experience and returned it, (...it's the same device 'except for the software the GC3 use's). Got the GC3 and it's excellent. Got the LP and found out their version of FX2020 was a little different than the GC3, (told by a Foresight support person/tech), PLUS!!! they had no idea when FSX Play would be out to work with, (maybe by the end of summer), the Bushleague LP. I was pissed because Bushleague didn't pass this info on to me at the time of sale, had to pay the restock fee for the return. Foresight sales cover's up this, yet actual 'software tech support' states otherwise. Anyway, paid a little more I know, but for lessons and the drive there and back. Well got my Hogan like swing going on thanks to my working through it on my own :) I used to coach in pro baseball, 3 world series with the team, so I am able to self coach by feel and video...

@@sklebeck ...ps... d valdez 6 minutes ago ...i used to coach in pro ball, 2nd team in BB to do it, filming performance for analysis, early 80's, 3 world series with them, helped tie the Nat League Save record, sports med from my medical study, been a photographer for 48 years, used high speed camera's in military, 1970's SF days, filming explosion direction of force, was Commo-Demo-Medic. Worked with U.S. Attorney, FBI, ATF demo related car bombings, convictions and death penalty result.
