Great video, Joe! I know you've mentioned it in other videos but I would also recommend the randomized shot distance tool on the GSPro range. Using that tool to randomly produce shots under 150 yds has probably saved me about 5 strokes per round IRL.

@@JLagGOLF Hey Joe, I never could get the R10 to stay connected to the Lenovo laptop so I returned it. My friend has a brand new Dell gaming laptop and we tried to connect and no luck. So, for now I am using my old laptop with windows 10 it just won't run the graphics for gspro but can use awesome golf for now unit i find something that works.

Thanks mate! What do you mean longer shot to target? Is it set up to give you distance to the flag or distance from the shot?

I play the Auto Putt tour (Mevo Plus) & one thing to keep in mind is that 40 feet is an automatic 3 putt. I hit 17/18 GIR this week & shot 6 over. This missed GIR was only a bogey. And pins can be tucked so if your lauch monitor doesn't handle very short chips, you'll bogey many holes you wouldn't IRL. If you can reach par 5's in two, you'll get auto 3 putt very often as well which is incredibly frustrating. Otherwise it's great! 😂 Great Video Joe! Keep 'em comin'.

The auto putt tour of the frustrating tour 🤣🤣. Yes I've been there and it can be so frustrating to be an inch outside and then three putt for a bogey or par! I think Springbok has now allowed the connector to hook up an X putt and a mevo plus! Could be a good option to get really good putting.

Hey mate, if you're using GS Pro, you don't actually have to change the elevation in the Rapsodo app in fact, the software won't even recognise if you do change the altitude in the Rapsodo application. All GS Pro is taking is the raw data such as ball speed, vertical launch angle, horizontal launch angle spin and spin axis and then putting those through the GS Pro algorithm.. includes the altitude based on which course you're playing.

It’s great that you go back every now and then and cover some basics….so easy to forget them! Question on distances to the green….is there a hot key or easy way to get quick front/back of green yardages? Right now, you seem to have to bring up the crosshairs and then mouse around for that information.

Good question and no there isn't. I would love to see that actually! That's definitely something that's worth suggesting to the GS Pro guys. Just like with a Garmin watch or z82 it gives you that nice front middle back! That's a really good pick up.

In the mini map on the bottom right, you can click and get distance and elevation change to different spots including the front and back of the green or carry to cover a bunker or hazard. Isn’t perfect, but is a pretty good option.

Joe, Wow, I wish I'd searched better and found your channel long ago! Very informative. Do you have any videos specific to GS Pro using Mevo+? Just watched your top 10 tips for new users and learned a ton even though I've had my set up for over a year😂

Thanks mate! So I have the Logitech brio 4K webcams but you are best to jump on the facebook group and ask on there because there are quite a few people using this day in day out and can help out. What you want ideally is a really high frame rate so it can capture more data.

Great info. I have a Rapsodo mlm2 pro and just got a ball enabled Bushnell Launch Pro. I'm looking for a simulator solution that allows me to use my ipad with the launch pro and just mirror it onto the projector. If I decide to go with a full computer setup, I'll definitely check out GS Pro and SGT. Thanks again

The BLP is a fantastic device.. the ball enabled one in my head is the upgraded GC2! Both fantastic units. The good thing about the MLM2PRO is it's so portable and you are able to take it to the range and use it! You would absolutely love GS Pro. I highly recommend it once you have a gaming PC or laptop

Hey Joe… thanks for the Tips video. You covered all the little things I know, but I have a question for you. Is there a way to search on the courses to find the ones that have tees that turn all the holes into par 3s? I don’t have room to swing a driver, and at the end of the day every hole becomes a par three at some point, so it would be helpful to know which courses offer Junior or par three tees, but I can’t figure out how to search for them. You have any insight into that

Hey mate, pretty much every course on GS Pro should offer this. I don't think there's many that don't offer par 3 tees! However, I haven't been through them all so I can't confirm but I do think most of them do.

Good vid Joe, I'll be honest I didn't know about the percentage penalties from coming out of the rough etc, I knew you would get penalised but not to the exact extent. However, I would like to see when you hit J for example if you toggle though your bag using club up and club down it would adjust the target, instead of having to go back to the ball and then J to refresh the carry target.

Thanks mate. Yeah, once you get the hang of it you can calculate your penalties and it makes getting you carry distance a lot easier. Good question. I'll have to check that one next time I launch it!

Great tips, Joe! Question regarding the GSPro connector for MLM2PRO. Does that extensive setup/mapping need to happen EVERY time you use the connector, or will it remember the settings for future times?

Then you connected by Springbok remembers everything and so all you have to do is launch the connector and it will resize the airplay window and everything automatically. Also remembers where you put those blue boxes so everything just happens once you launch the connector. It also can remember specific devices. So for instance it'll remember when you use your iPad or your Android phone separately and resize the windows accordingly.

How do you calculate for the elevation of the green? Say it’s up or down 8 ft from where you’re hitting?

For me it's as simple as subtracting the elevation or adding. So if my shot is 150y and it's 4y uphill I play it 154y.. the same for downhill.

How do i turn on auto putt? I was trying out operation 36 yesterday and I am not setup for webcam putting yet.

Hey mate autoputt is in the settings menu before you click the blue box to play the course. There will be a tab called gimmie and a number say 5 this means 5 feet... Click on the left or right arrows and you will see auto putt as an option.

Hey mate, thanks for the comment. I use a Logitech Brio 4K camera and it's great. However, for the actual putting the best thing you want or the thing you want to look for is a really high frame rate. Fire the frame rate the more information the camera is going to be able to capture and it will be a bit more accurate. Your best place is to search the Facebook groups and talk to people in there who use this day in day out because they'll have a really good idea of what camera works best! For me I only set it up for the video just to show people it was possible and just used my web camera that I use for filming.

Customize your bag first. Set it up so that it only has your clubs. (That said, I actually only have 13 clubs and can't figure out how to remove one of them either...guess my only recouse is to go buy another club).

Great video , How are you getting on with the Uneekor Eye Mini ? Since you announced you were part of the testing team for Uneekor I haven't seen much more about the troubles you were having with it .

Hey Jason I'll have to do an update video! So using black tees and cleaning up my hitting area (removing alignment stick) I have reduced not eliminated crazy misreads. I'm getting about 1 every 27 holes now where it will slice or hook off the planet when I know it was a good shot. Good things to come with the firmware!! That's all I'll say. Really hoping it will be ready for release soon.... But it's fixed the issues I mentioned in other videos 🤐 haha.

I did bag mapping and it’s giving me averages of total yardage for each club not carry Is that how yours is ?

Hey TJ, yes I did check it. I could have sworn when I did it it was carry distance but it looks like it is just total distance. I think maybe I did it and then still clicked on the clip board and got the carry distance. Or maybe I just did it by myself on the range and use the clipboard and got the carry distances that way.

Is there a way to adjust the gspro bag mapping between carry and total distance numbers? When I did it, it seemed to use total distance and not carry distance like you said.

So I was under the impression that it was carry distance when I used it first but it must be total distance. To apologise for this, I think the best way to do it is to basically do the test yourself by selecting the clubs in the bottom left hand corner and then you can select the top left hand corner to view all your data and that way you can see the carry data yourself!

For every 1000ft of elevation you will carry it 2 percent further. This also holds up quite well outside! Cheers

Hey mate, yes good pick up! I swear when I did this at an earlier date it was in carry. Or you could select carry or total yardage. I think the best way to do it is to go to the range and actually manually do it with the actual clipboard in the left hand corner. So still select the club in the bottom left hand corner. Hit five shots and then select the clipboard and you'll be able to see all your data for that shot. Delete it and then rinse and repeat for the rest of the clubs!

Joe did u know that now to buy gs pro subscription U need to have fsx 2020 or fsx play ???? Subscription What’s that all about ? Do have any ideas?? Thx

Yes, I think with the partnership of Foresight and GS Pro now changed what you need to connect up. I'm not sure exactly what is involved but I know a lot of people will really annoyed with it. I've heard that people have had to buy FSX play when they didn't have to before. It's a shame

Could you also tell us how the lie affects your shot? (Slope + Angle)

One thing I do have a problem with your videos is it’s looking like it may start costing me money to watch you. The more I follow and get my set up in the garage better the more gspro is giving me an itch I need to scratch lol
