@thesliceoflifepodcast - You guys seem like Aamir fan. If you want some of his other good movies, go for "Mumbai Diaries" and "Faana". Rangeela is also really good, but you guys won't be able to relate to it or appreciate it. You can also go for his Forrest Gump remake, Lal Singh Chaddha. BTW- MiG 21, the plane that went down in the movie, is known as widowmaker due to it poor track record.

Everyone sacrificed and contributed. Not just Gandhi and these guys but there are lot of people whose name are unknown. The non leaders who died, who no one knew. So don't do this percentage thing and insult that generation of freedom fighters. People from all over the Indian sub continent contributed to the freedom struggle. There are names that never got highlighted for example piyali phukan, kanaklata who all were hanged or shot by the British

This is such a Good movie. Ahead of its times but, a movie for all times. Especially in the current times when being critical of anything wrong with the govt is taken to be anti-national. Such are the bizzare times that we are living in. Extremism all around.
