Nice tidy straight TW. We put a block heater on ours. Plug it in at night helps alot with the cold starts

always loved the tick over of the ford enine in the TW's, My ole boy used to drive a 15 for a while and i sat many a day on the tool box sad when he started driving other equipment most of teh time and the other guys wrecked her more or less, they broke the seat for one

Man she was cold normally there go with tip of the starter that's what I love about my tw15 I know any day any weather she will fire up easy love that 25 q cab

Common rail fuel injection is why they fire straight up on the new stuff. Also stuff like fuel heaters which are in the tank and glow plugs does help.

I had to tune in to hear the starter of a TW pop off. A good tip when I run my TW I don't let it gallop idle when it's cold. I raise the rpm just a bit to eliminate it until it's warmed up. Little less stress on the rotating assembly. Cheers

Looks good for a 30? years old tractor. The fuel pump need some service. That is why the engine run If it is drunk. regulator need to be ajust. Keep them running!

Is there an excess fuel device on the tractor's fuel pump for cold starting?

Can you do a yard tour and show what tractors you have

Have you got a shed you could put the TW in out of the weather George

no smoke no poke u can always count on the tw

Love the low idle... How long do you warm it up before running with some load? 15 minutes to get the oil

At least 5 minutes at a high idle

There a button on the injection pump should be used it be easier on the battery

Is she all original condition or has she been restored in the past

stop pushed in throttle open push excess fuel button on the stop lever on the pump and she would fire up almost instantly with a cloud of the black stuff.

I wish I could say the same about my 1983 8210 as its doesnt like starting on cold ish morning let alone a frosty morning even with the heater plug going and coldstart button in but the 7710 gen 1 I used to drive regardless of temperature it always did 2 compression strokes and it was away even when the modern tractors wouldn't funny old things fords lol
