I love these start up videos
A good deal of the difficult cold starts could be improved by regular addition of an additive such as Power Service or Diesel Tone to the fuel.
I believe that the Ford Tractor Co. that you describe was short-lived and the Ford tractors we know were actually made by Ford Motor Co.

That's the trouble with old - or new - diesel engines in the cold, you've got to rev the balls out of them to get the fuel to the injectors!

Gonna gear a starter out yet, what would those tractors do here in Canada, now that is cold weather starting Jan 16/2020 -52 C, abit of click bait , mo tractor on fire
i think Henry ford made the tractors i have a 1949 ford 8n and ford is written the same darn way as it is written on ford vehicles.
More exciting for me is the STEYR

It's a Steyr T180 the first produced STEYR tractot back in 1947, at first they build cars, bycicles and weapons.

@@christian9125abd No, this isn't real. My grandfather was in Cooperation with Steyr and some ingeneur's, and the first Design came from 45 still in the 2nd ww.

German engineering, Fendt starts up right away. No drama in it though which sucks.

Some of those guys shouldn't even have a diesel engines they don't know how to start them
Don’t drive with the engine cold it’s not good for the engine
