    Hi Chris love your videos, have been a godsend for me, I have recently started using Forscan, first scan came up with all 5 injectors leaking, incident was dated Sept 22, I reset, scanned again and now it just comes up with injector 5 leaking, 2015 PX 110,000km, should I be concerned about this coming up on the scan? I see no real symptoms out of exhaust from day to day, I'm not sure if I need to go down the path of replacing injectors at only 110,000km and a considerable cost, I also add I'm running a Berrima Diesel chip, a mate has suggested this at times may just over fuel the injectors? Just after your personal opinion on this conundrum, I'm not confident enough to do as you have done in this video Cheers mate

    Hi great video thank you. A couple of questions if I may. If you change an injector, why wouldn't have to be programmed into the engine? Also when you said that you let it prime 5 times and then let it sit for 10 minutes. What did you mean? Did you turn the ignition on 5 times or try to start the car 5 times? Then did you let it sit with the ignition on for 10 minutes? Thank you for any response 🤗

  • @abdautomotive

    @abdautomotive

    2 жыл бұрын

    thanks! if you put new injectors in, you have to program them into the PCM. The PCM must know the calibration codes for each injector in order to treat and operate the injector in the correct manner. In Regards to the Priming, i sat with the ignition on for 1 minute then off for 1 minute and repeated 5 times, hope this helps.

    Dear Techy friend. My 2.2L Ford ranger threw p062d (injector driver circuit performance malfunction) the vehicle wouldn't start. Its problems started with adulterated diesel which led to failure of high injector pump and after replacement of the parts, there is loss of signal to the injectors. Also the Check engine light doesn't show anymore. I got another PCM and the symptoms continue. Pls what can I do, to resolve this issue, thank you
