Hi mate, I have a Mondeo 2016 reg. I have a similar issue. When I start the car their are no light displayed but whenever I come to a standstill and do a sudden or a 3 point turn the ABS, Traction lights come on and also the car shows a parking sensor malfunction. Do You think it could be the same problem? Ps. This started happening after I had my Radiator replaced because it had a small leak? They had to take the front bumper off to replace the radiator. Hi! how are you? I have a Mondeo but the 2.5t 5 cylinder with the same Issue. But the difference in my unit it is that only make mention in the ACC Unavailable, the traction control and abs has a correct fuction and the lights turn it off when I starts my car. Can be the same? Or I have another problem? Thanks!

Hi I have a mk4 2.0tdci mondeo titanium x and I've also been having problems with the check engine error and the traction control light coming on and then last week I started the car and it said front light failure even though they were all on but I'm guessing it's also to do with this cable where the auto adjuster stopped working for the xenon... will look this weekend at the condition of the cable

Do you find what could be a issue with this check error engine and tracking control lights and how to fix it? Same problem here but shows only for few min like 3 and disappear

Ford S-Max - Reconnected my battery cruise control light comes on but doesn't engage. Also the Speed limiter doesn't light up or engage. It was working before I removed the battery, changed the Fuse for Cruise control and that's not solved it. Any ideas what I might have blown reconnecting the battery?

I have also got these two lights but not until I have driven 10 to15 miles, If I stop and switch ignition off and start straight away the lights are out, when the lights are on I still have cruise control. I think I will have to check my wiring as you did.

Good luck with it. Dont take long to check, its piece of mind before a garage rips you off blind.

hi my car has got what seems to be 1 car following another closely with a arrow under the back car with what seems to be a crash symbol between the 2 ..the car drives ok ..but the light wont go out ..I have been told it is something to do with the forward alert / cruise control ..do you have any idea what might be causing it ..light is yellow ..car is a ford Mondeo 2010 plate titanium x ..warning light is in the bottom left corner were it shows the information book on your car ..

I have a 2008 mondeo titanium x 2.0 and the airbag warning light has just come on... any advice on where to start would be appreciated.

Now these faults are a nightmare without plugging it in, I would get a hand held diagnostic code reader, I think i paid £40 for mine. They are no where near the quality of the dealers by any stretch of the imagination but it has paid for itself many times over the years. I sold mine with the car as it would not work with my new car. But i had a similar fault and it was water ingress into a plug in the engine bay on the large yelllow wire/air bag circuit. This was due to some hungry mice. Best of luck.

Hi, I've replaced my abs sensors but still no luck with the speedometer (RPM, fuel gage and temperature gauge all work), I bought the car from someone who said that it was working and all he did was remove the abs sensors to do some work on the front of the car and all I had to do was plug them back in so I ended up buying new ones as I didn't have the ones he took out and still no luck, my car is a 2008 ford mondeo 2.0 diesel with the converse+ clocks like yours

Have they damaged the wiring or plugs?

My 2010 SMax has gone into limp home mode with the engine malfunction message coming up. Is this similar to your problems. I also have the Anti Skid symbol coming up and bizarrely a stop light fault despite there being nothing wrong with them.

No limp mode but all lights to do with Traction control, ABS, adaptive cruse control, basically every light that in some way has something to do with or looks at the brakes.

Matt.Did you find the solution?I get traction light and eng malfunction(limp mode) occasionally.Switch ignition off then back on again...gone.mk 4 Mondeo.

Mine has just had an mot and as I was driving off from the garage I have the exact same light on and it's in limp mode. The garage say they don't have a clue what's up with it. Did you find what was up with yours?

You need to plug it in. If it does not reset on the ignition, then it's a plug-in job.

You are totally right, such a poor place and on such a tight bend. I have done 5 more of these since on other peoples cars. For me its a hobby for a beer, just think of the poor people who know nothing about cars and go to a main dealer.
