💧 Leaking rear air vent and the issue with the blanking tape, and the cracked welded seams at and above the tail gate hinges... so essentially exactly the same as the last leaking Ford Fiesta we did.
The solution is the same too. We'll seal up the seams and the gaskets around the rear air vents, and find a rubber grommet for the whole that Ford decided to seal with paper tape.
Decontamination was done when the car was brought to us, so after repairs we dried the car and this customer took advantage of our special offer, so the car got a bit of a makeover.

A: We don't know. That's why we do a diagnostic inspection. We cannot answer the question of how much it costs to fix before we know the extent of the problem. Prices for our inspection and hourly rates can be found on our website.
Q: Why don't you show us how to fix it?
A: This isn't a DIY channel, we are sharing videos we take for the customer as part of our inspection process. Furthermore, the vast majority of the fixes are simple, and if you need to ask how to fix them, you probably should let a professional deal with it. See below:

⚡ Electricity and water is a dangerous combination. This is especially the case with electric and hybrid cars, but most modern cars have electronic control units in areas which are prone to water ingress. These are easily damaged and can be expensive to replace.
💥 Areas that need to be accessed to fix water leaks may contain airbags. These are explosive and can be quite sensitive. Tampering with them could lead to serious injury.
☣️ Cars that have been damp for a prolonged period often contain mould, mildew and dangerous bacteria. Mould spores can seriously affect the health of people with asthma, the old, very young, and people with compromised immune systems. Mould should always be taken seriously.

Have this one that came in, the rear trunk area seems to be wet and behind the driver and passenger is wet. Drains in the front are good but when I pour water in the rear it runs down the tube, not in it and then comes out of the rear area where the seat belts come out of, ever seen that before on a fiesta?

What is the best way to seal these places? The silicone seems to fall off because it contains vinegar, which accelerates corrosion. Can you advise something. I am writing pS from Poland so I will not be able to come to you

You need a proper automotive sealant, similar to the stuff they use to seal windscreens. You could try Würth Polska, but I don't know if they sell direct to the general public.

i cut out pieces of aluminium and used sika urethane to glue them into place and also for sealing the myriad of other places that where leaking.

Hi guys an after a bit of advice , i replaced wing mirror on my fiesta 2013 , it has a slight gap at the top now we’re it’s connected to the car door , Will rain water in this just come out the bottom of the door we’re the escape holes are or does it need sealing up

I don't know. I am not aware of any problems with Fiesta wing mirrors. The best thing to do is test it by pouring water over it.

it will be fine, I have an aftermarket mirror that doesn't seal properly where it meets the door and had no problem whatsover. I have it for like 4-5 years now
when you poured water in via roof, where was water coming in from? I've very same problem from a 2009 fiesta car I've just bought. damned if I know where its getting in. is it the seal around the light unit?

@@jillrossiter8757 I've temporarily put duct tape around the outside of the top half of light. It's stopping water getting in so that tells me it's the seal on the light. The seal that goes round the hole on car so a new unit needed I guess

@@stephenm353 i just bought new rubber gaskets for stoplights, i have done everything put silicone on all possible places and it still leaks. waiting for propper weather to put these gaskets on stoplight, they are ripp off in official dealer but couldnt find them anywhere

@@amarpatel3154 i fixed my issue with new rubber gaskets. Now very small ammount of water leaks. My old gaskets were flat and water went under it. Try to use silicone, and put it over weldings. Put silicone arround gaskets where pins and bolts go. Put it arount rear door hinges. And remove rear wheel, on the bottom of the trunk there are three caps. Use smallest drill bit to drill holes for extra water to go out

These videos are made as reports for the customer to show them what's wrong. Making videos of the repair is not part of our process.
