I love how honest this guy is. He's not over-selling the vehicle or under-selling it. It really seems like he's having a a regular conversation with you. A lot of companies would tell you that 1) they make the grill (even if they bought it off eBay) or 2) would straight up "forget" or not include where the grill came from. More companies need to learn something from this guy.

17madracki17 You'd be surprised. The Dana 60HD unit bearings can take some shit. I've done a lot of wheeling and have over 200k on my '02 Dana 60(non hd) all with various oversize tires; Granted I wasn't running 300lbs tire combos. Regardless, the yuppies paying this type of cash could easily replace unit bearings like regular maintenance or step up to dynatracs.

James Flores The rears are sterling 10.5's. Considering that the rear doesn't contend with steering forces and is designed to handle a few thousand pounds of payload directly above it, it can easily handle very large tires for the long haul. The fronts are Dana super 60's(not 60HD like I mistakenly wrote before); Probably the toughest factory Dana 60.

Considering the current state of the custom car economy, $22k is a very reasonable price for that. Good stuff. I really liked the part around 15:20 where you were talking about tires. When he says he's a fanatic and likes to make sure they are perfect that really goes a long way to show that he cares about the product he's putting out there.

personally, I agree with Marcus... Imo, lift blocks are a cheap, potentially hazardous way out. I completely understand the idea of a budget build and cost effectiveness. however, when you consider the cost of building one to this guy's price tag, you would be better off to purchase lift springs and scrap the blocks. I won't go into the actual raptors selling performance for dealers, not my nich... but I will say that since you can figure 50k for the truck, 30k for the raptor kit, then the least this guy building these trucks can do is throw in $1,500, (give or take) for actual lift springs.
