A bad Alternator blew the fuse and I had no idea, saved my butt! New alt and fuse = my problem solved

Had a v10 triton had same problem every fuse was working but then I got every single fuse and cleaned the legs and was ready to go

So our 02 5.4 V8 with 325k on it was having an issue. Like a grinding noise in gear. Figured transmission was going bad. Decide to change transmission fluid, gasket and filter (never been serviced) Even though most places said don’t do it. Once we did this, and used Lucas. Now it will not go into gear. Runs fine in P N Engine shuts off and drive train won’t spin. Think this fuse might fix it ???

Would this happen with a 99 Ford Taurus 3.0 OHV engine would that fuse just go bad

Got a jeep srt 2007 but actually turns off when put on r or d it’s has a super charger and cam header theft just did a rebuild on the engine new part turns on fast just have that problem

My 2001 Escape idles well but in gear if you stop the revs drop below 800 and it will stall I suspect it the air intake which is dirty maybe other than this is runs fine no missing is drivable with a bit of pressure on gas when having to slow or stop fuses all seem to be ok

My 2008 escape just started doing the same thing. It’ll idle fine but in gear it drops rpm’s and dies.

Oscar I did fix it by cleaning the air intake however after running well last Thursday it wouldn't rev at all so now not sure what problem is will have to get it towed to a mechanic I think Good luck with yours

I'm currently having the same issue but when I replace the fuse it keeps blowing it. I tried to just put a jumper wire in and then it blows the power control module fuse. Would you possibly have any idea what might cause this to be happening?

Ok would suggest looking at the oxygen sensors. Unplug them and then plug them in one at a time until the fuse blows

I recently bought my grandpas 1993 Ford F-150. It likes to cut off when I put it in reverse and drive. I have to give it some gas but not too much and it just messes with me. Any suggestions on how to fix it? I really need it driving perfectly.

Ever figure it out? I have a 86 that I put a newer engine in and sometimes it’ll run strong an stop so I’ll mess with the distributor and it’ll work but it won’t make it far before it dies an refuses to crank. I’m thinking torque converter, timing chain or bad cam or distributor..

My 1998 mercury mountaineer dies in reverse, if I put it in reverse and hit the gas it'll work but when I let off and try to idle it dies. Only in reverse though so idk what to do

Not sure which number fuse but I believe I show it's position in the box. It gives power to the HEGO module I believe. This was a minute ago so I'm sorry that I don't have more info

I have an 04 that turns on fine, reverses but when I put it on drive it stalls. I out it back in park turn it on and it drives fine. I can put it in gear after that with no problem. Any clue if it could be a fuse?

The fuse gives power to the HEGO system. Stands for heated exhaust gas oxygen sensor. Basically your o2 sensors and computer

@@BH_Ruffle no i havent done anything with it yet, but my guess is the gearbox or the torque converter I have a 7.3 powerstroke in mine

It was gas pump on my 02 f-150 lightning

I have a 2003 town n country mini van that only the reverse don’t work we’re do I began to fix that lol

This happens to my 2003 Ford F350 5.4, Once I put it into Drive or reverse and I come to a stop light, while I am idling in drive it shuts off, also I am losing power in the truck and have to step on the gas to accelerate. Anyone have any suggestions?

Sounds like your idle air control valve is blocked. Clean it and then everything should be fine

@@captainchaos7857 I will try this, I have spent over $1,000 in mechanic fees, on trying to fix this issue, they can’t seem to find the solution, it’s impossible to find a good mechanic nowadays.

It has fuel gas pump double

@@user-ld9jf4on7u I have 54 ford f100 with a 97 svt cobra 4.6L that just started having this issue. Dies when out into gear without gas, noticed the pressure guage is showing zero so I will try and test.

Did you ever get ford to look at your truck , if so what was the issue ?

That trucks runs like shit either way, definitely wouldn’t call that fine lol

My Subaru is completely dead an even if I jump it the car dies when I put it in reverse

I would still charge him an hours worth of work 😂
