Too expensive. I won’t have a bathroom across from my kitchen. Germs fly when flushing; never keep your toothbrush out of a medicine cabinet to dry or guess what you get. The kitchen should be at one end and the bath at the opposite. Luanne has the right floorplan.

who is luanne? i agree and shudder when i see ppl with towels in there or clothing, plus i feel they look bigger if the bathroom is at the back and has a door outside. kitchenette in living room as you open door.

Was reading it's hard to get insurance for tiny homes and they can have a problem with humidity and mold if you are not careful.

That's why you put an air exchanger in them, and or a dehumidifier.

they wont be drafty, but i think youre right on some type of air vent built in. just open doors with a fan on for a bit every day or burn a fire inside or out, depending on the season and get advice from a builder, they do spray these and theyre not supposed to grow mould. @@mmsanrio

@@mmsanrio Air exchangers are included in the price of all of the more expensive ITH Model Homes built by the Amish, such as the Augusta, Birmingham, etcetera. They're an optional amenity in the budget tiny homes like the RJO, Incred-i-Box, etcetera. They're very efficient, more than one air exchanger is not needed in any of the tiny homes built by ITH.

This is probably the most complete package I've seen for one of these homes. The only thing I would change is that I would make the space across from the washer and dryer into a closet.

@@mmsanriobuying land IS the easy part. The hard part is putting in electric, sewer, roads/driveway and making a spot to put your home. Oh, and if you don't already have a 'normal' home on the property most states won't let you put just a tiny house to live in. Do you think the community maintains itself? There's upkeep on the roads, infrastructure and paying employees a liveable wage, insurance, construction equipment...on and on. If you don't believe it's a good deal and Randy is some sort of villain, WHY are you here??
