H&K. Man, what a company. No other company in the world can take an AR platform, make a few very minor improvements, then convince a government that they should spend 20x its actual value to buy it.

We love German made weapons in the United States but I just wish they didn't cost so much. The pistols aren't that bad it's the rifles. A gun I have wanted for a long time made by H&K goes all day long for $4000.00 The H&K MR762A1, and it's $7000.00 for the H&K MR762A12 LRP III. I used to work in the firearms industry and actually met some reps from HK and attended the Indy 500 with one. Had a great time. All HK products are outstanding as are most German firearms. I'm a huge fan of Walther Pistols as well. That all said, being a red blooded American I still believe the best firearms designer in history was probably John Moses Browning. ❤ Good video. ❤

How will the action hold up? Once again the very ergonomic AR format WITH a piston driven action wins out over the dirty and hot direct impingement action. That's why I love my AUG.

Actually in reality Ugene took the Canadian Design and the FN design and tried but failed, to copy it in the M16 and all it's failed variants over 50 years hence there are so many of them because US firearms are ruvery poorly made. This is well known fact. If you look it up you will find it says exactly "Eugene Morrison Stoner (November 22, 1922 - April 24, 1997) was an American machinist and firearms designer who is most associated with the development of the ArmaLite AR-15 rifle that was redesigned and modified by Colt's Patent Firearm Company for the United States military as the M16 rifle it does not say he invented or designed it in any way. He simply took the Canadian Idea and design and tried to make it better which sadly did not happen and resulted in the US military suffering break downs and losses in huge numbers due to the poor quality and unreliability of the AR and the M16 platforms. Basic knowledge so start thanking Canada not Eugene bud

The 2% of GDP recommendation for NATO? Is it practical? Could European armed forces be more integrated? I mean why should the UK, Poland, Germany, etc., be using different MBTs? And for other armoured vehicles like IFVs? I certainly understand that there's differences in terrain, etc., but, there's not likely to be a massive armoured invasion of Portugal and Spain is there?

I see a lit of mad comments here. Most of them complaining about the AR being an american platform. Yeah. But Colt builded a peace of sh*t. Thats why US Special Forces worked with H&K together to compare the G36 piston to a AR-15 platform. I don't get the problem. They took the best of the G36 and the best of the AR-15 (The body) to built one of the most successful assault rifles in history. Americans could also be proud of that. It's a collaboration and not an expensive copy. Not like the Coharie Arms CA-415 which is an exact copy of the HK416. But American companies cannot be sued for patent rights in the international market because they are the superpower.

And the reason people call suppressors silencers is not because they silence your gun because they don’t they suppress the noise. The reason people call them silencers is because that’s what British people call mufflers on their cars and that’s essentially what a suppressor for a gun is it’s designed exactly like a car muffler and it doesn’t matter what their company name is if you go shopping for a suppressor on their website it will not be marketed as a silencer because that’s false advertising. It doesn’t silence, your gun and a suppressor is useless with supersonic ammunition. You have to couple it with some sonic ammunition, because of the crack of a bullet is from the bullet breaking the sound barrier.
