I'm starting to collect Folio Society books myself. I have the Earthsea books they've released so far, The Phantom of the Opera, and The Hobbit. The Silmarrilion and the Lord of the Rings set are currently on their way. I have all the Jane Austen books, Dracula, Dune, and the Farseer Trilogy set in my Wish List.

I just found a Folio Society book the other day. Marcus Aurelius Meditations. I was a little skeptical of the price. But once I got it home and opened it I realized it is a great investment and excellent value.

Your comment hit a sour note because her physical appearance really shouldn't have anything to do with her intelligence and her book vlogs. It's low-key insulting to me and probably to other women as well.

The A Song of Ice and Fire books are gorgeous, but I don't think I want to spend so much money on them. My hype for the series has kind of died down from waiting for a Book 6 that's likely never to actually be finished.

I couldn't justify reading from any of these books. The art style and decoration makes it look like mantle pieces and I would be anxious the entire time that i might spoil these works of art

I do worry about that with them sometimes but I want to get my moneys worth and actually read them so I force myself to get over it😂

Cracked spines are the bane of my existence! Well, I am being a bit dramatic there but I absolutely understand you. I have mega-cheap or Kindle versions of most of my Folio Society books for that very reason! Help me, buying the same books twice. "Hello. My name is Julie and I'm a bookaholic."
