In this #bookshelftour Video I am going to show you my #bookcollection.
I have been delaying this video since forever, but I couldn't anymore. Honestly, there are so many bookshelf tour videos on KZread and seeing their collection and library made me feel like mine wasn't worthy enough to put online. But I couldn't care anymore.
Books are books and no matter how many you have, your collection will always be unique. So, yeah. Here's my book collection. You can see the pattern and understand my taste I guess.
I STARTED MY READING JOURNEY IN 2016. Whaaaaatt!!
It's been four years, man!
I was not a born reader. I never read throughout my childhood. In fact, I used to hate reading. Ugh! But I turned myself into a reader. It was not a consciously thought decision though. It just happened naturally. I guess I was destined to fall in love with books. Lol.
Also, I don't hoard books. I only buy books I know I will read. And I only buy books when I am not going through a reading slump. I am not in favor of hoarding anything. But it's my personal opinion, and it's completely okay if you love collecting books. I respect everyone's personal choices.
All the books that I showed you in this video, I have read all of them except one which is the third book from the Millennium Series - The Girl who kicked the hornet's nest. I am currently reading Siddhartha by Herman Hesse, so I am half way through it.

Such a gorgeous collection!!❤ Loved what you said about how this is all about the collection you have and not the materialistic aspect. I've been thinking of joining the booktube community for so long now. I do not have a fancy majestic bookshelf with numerous hardcovers and boxsets arranged neatly. I do have about 70+ books on my shelves. But I always had this feeling that I need a huge collection and a perfect camera to actually make my channel impressive. I know I'm totally wrong because content is what actually matters. I'm thinking of giving it a try with the limited resources I have. The books that I have currently are 1 divergent series 2 Harry potter series 3 bad guy comic series 4 Tom gates series 5 a house of night novel series And some comic and short story books I only have series books And currently I am just focusing on my neet soo lots of neet books 😀😭 and after my neet selection I will expand my book collection cuz I love reading and collecting book !!! I've seen many bookshelf tour on booktube recently but your collection seems most practical to me. It doesn't have unnecessary fancy hardcover which gives me inferiority complex and gives me vibe that I'm not doing enough with books.Also 90% of your books are on my tbr or books I've already read. Definitely subscribing. Edit- I read your description just now and It seems crazy that you felt same way!! Wow!! We have same taste in books and thoughts about "collecting" books!! Although I am a reader since forever but I don't collect or buy books unnecessarily. Sorry for the rant but I couldn't help myself. Just remember there are people like us and you're doing good work. Quick Suggestion- watch book unhaul videos, it will make you feel good about being practical.
