This is such a cool idea! FYI if you draw the circle on the two pieces of fabric right sides together, then sew on the drawn line before cutting out the circle, it would be easier! Don’t forget to leave the part for turning! When you’re done sewing , cut out the circle 1/4” from the drawn and sewn line with a pinking shear!

Beatlesfansonia. I tried your suggestion and it worked great!
I love the tutorial, thank you for posting it. It's great that you're using a vintage Singer to sew with. They were made to last for generations, and they sew such a beautiful stitch.
Even though you made this video about 5 years ago I still refer to it every year to make these. Love how simple they are to make. Thank you!!
What a clear demo, with peaceful, "quiet" music. Beautiful craft. Can't wait to try it.
Haven't decorated for Christmas in YEARS, but I am making these right now. Thank you so much. I am making them to become napkin rings, sewing a small circle of fabric on the bottom. Sooooo cute! Thank you so much.
I'm new to this group, and I'm very pleased with the projects and results I've gotten so far! The tutorials are wonderful: clear, concise, easy to understand, and not so fast that you have to hit "pause" 50 times while you're trying to keep up. I can't wait to make more things!!! I used a 7.5" pan lid, and the finished size is perfect! Thank you so much!
I see you're using the antique singer. So I'm machine. I love it. I wish I had one that worked that's really cool. I'm 73 so I know a lot about machinery. And it's nice to see somebody using the old old machine. Some way back thank you for what you do
I watched this 10 yrs ago before I ever had a channel. It's fun finding it again. I made like a dozen of these ornaments that still hang on our tree today. ❤
These are just adorable! Haven’t been able to find just what I want for my tree this year but now I can make these in the colors I want, navy gold and burgundy. Thanks for sharing🎄🎄
I have three comments: I love the background music! I love the sound of your old sewing machine! I love the ornaments! I'm going to make some. They look a lot harder to make than they are. Thank you!!!
I made several of these a few years ago following your tutorial. I never tire of seeing them on my tree each year. I thank you !
This has got to be one of the cutest and so simple decoration for Christmas time and love it. Thank you!
My quilt guild just made these for a charity Christmas tree raffle, where decorated trees will be raffled off in December to raise money for a local charity. We made them in two sizes, and one guild member cut the circles using an Accuquilt Go Cutter with the 6" and 8" circle dies- quick and easy way to cut your circles! The members loved making them, and I think our tree will look great. Thanks for the great instructions!
I made these for my coworkers a few years ago. You just popped up on my phone again today! Making more! Thanks CC!
Thank you so much for your video. Just made one on my 1945 Featherweight I inherited from my Grandmother. It’s my pride and joy and do all my Quilt piecing on it. Not only ornaments for my tree, but with a wooden skewer on the back these would look great in a floral arrangement for any season.
I made these for gifts two years ago and everyone loved them! A really great and beautiful gift !
THANK YOU FOR SUCH AN INFORMATIVE VIDEO, SO NICELY EXPLAINED. THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL. GREAT TO SEE A BLOKE DOING THIS.

I love it! So easy, quick and beautiful! The background music was lovely too.
So clever! Thank you! I am in love with that sewing machine and I'm amazed at how neat you can sew that circle. You're my hero.

Love it! I am making some, did some with 5 inch circles, left the needle on to do the middle button and the loop, all about faster! Thanks for the great idea!!
Thank you! I bought a book on folded fabric flowers, and could not decipher the author's instructions from the pictures provided. You just fixed the problem I was struggling with! Your video was concise and to the point and very easy to follow along. Thank you!!!

Your ornaments are wonderful, and I love the clackity clack of your treadle. I learned to sew on one of those, and it brings back great memories.
I made several of these ornaments and even used them on a wreath. They turned out great.
Super simple, but so elegant with the rich fabric...thank you...
I love these! So pretty, and you do such a great job explaining your crafts and food creations. Thanks!
Sewing with an old Singer!! Love the ornaments! Thank you for sharing.
Wow!! What a nice way to use up many of my leftover fabric pieces. I'll make these for all my sisters for a small Christmas gift!

This is a lovely tutorial. I made mine tiny (3.5" ) and used scrap I had around. I love your sewing machine :-)
How could anyone possibly dislike this video? These are so cute and so easy. I made several in different sizes and attached little gold bells in the middle.
Such a simple ornament, but it turns out wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing!
Made these last year and gave them all away. Making more this year. Will keep a few for my tree. Thanks for this tutorial!

Oh, what lovely ornaments, and a beautiful old Singer. In the cabinet, if I'm not mistaken. Wonderful to see the old workhorses used. Thanks for the pattern, so perfectly shown.

I made these today after watching your tutorial about a month ago! They turned out great and make such great little gifts. Thanks for sharing!
Great idea, you've shown it doesn't have to be complicated to be great. I, too, have a Singer pedal, which is what I learned on as a kid. My dad added a little motor and pedal to make it more user friendly. Your presentation was easy to visualize, and very pleasant to watch. Thank you!
Fantastic knowing a dude is doing this. Easy! TY.
Great tutorial - thank you!! I loved seeing and hearing you sew on that old machine.

These are so cute, so easy, and very little fabric is used. A handmade gift, costing pennies, that doesn't take a huge amount of time - perfect!
Love your creativity. BEAUTIFUL.
Ilove the sewing machine and the sound reminds me of childhood , listening to my mother sew. Thanks.
These are beautiful. Thank you so much for such an easy to understand tutorial.
Beautiful ornaments! Thank you for being so clear on the instructions.
Those ornaments re quite nice! Thank you for sharing!
These make really special gift tags. I made them last year and was looking for the pattern again. I used a little card about the size of a business card and tucked it in on the backside using the folds to hold it in place.
This looks so beautiful! Thank you for your clear and simple tutorial 😉

I put a laminated picture on the other side with the fabric( I make some clothes) of the memory of the year. So Every Christmas, my daughter can remember that year in the future. Great tutorial. Thanks a lot.

Absolutely gorgeous very ornate & proper traditional Christmas looking. I am definitely going to make an attempt to making some for my tree this year as I prefer a traditional Christmas tree as it's full of memories from when I was a child oh happy days & my 5 grandchildren just love hearing all about the time when I was a child. 🎅🎄🎁⛄

Your sewing machine looks just like the one my mom had, the one I learned to sew on! Awsome.
Out of 1 yd I cut out 21 7" and 9 6" circles, so 30 ornaments out of (2) fabrics, 1 yd each. So easy and fun! Thank you so much for your tutorial, I made these for an ornament exchange.
That's a great idea! I mainly crochet but after seeing this would love to do a bit of sewing to make some of those ornaments!
