Just curious but when you do the root smudge or root shadow you use shades eq with the processing solution or something different ? Also is root smudge and shadow sorts the same concept

She probably also adds in the shades eq thickener for the root smudge! Shades eq gloss is a super runny formula so adding the thickener will help give more control ☺️

Is her hair not absolutely shagged with all that existing bleach on the ends? And why would you foil down to the root to then tint it at the basin?
