Mike Tarlton damn your wife has a RS that’s so awesome mine can’t even drive standard and don’t want to learn and hates sports cars

had an MBRP on an old Focus ZX3 hatchback and I loved the sound of it. lots of people always asked what it was. Awesome that I can support a Canadian company as well.

I know these vids take time to produce - thank you for doing all these guys.

Subscribed! I had an MBRP on my 2000 Focus ZX3 and loved it. The car is still going strong. The RS just might be next!

I just Installed this xp series and I love the way it sounds but it does drone quite a bit when at about 3k rpm not sure if I installed the resonator wrong or not but was thing of adding a straight through resonator before the rear axle

Using this same exhaust on my gf 2012 volvo c30 T5 so easy to interchange parts and reweld a few hanger here and there but man the car sounds so good. The price was also better than buying something from actual volvo parts seller so much cheaper

I have this exhaust on my focus RS. It sounds way better than stock obviously but it could be better. I wish I had just got the scorpion cat back. This exhaust drones a lot on higher rpms. It’s not unbearable but it does drone. My RS buddy’s have mountune and borla exhausts. Once I get the car making the right power I will change this system.

What size socket do I use on the v-band clamp? (3:36) deep 15 or 16?

pz look to making something for hybrid cars , like the 2015 ford c max hybrid.

Love MBRP, but dear god update your clamps to V band clamps.....

The awe track edition is pretty loud. I also have a CPE Catless downpipe. I had the mbrp on my car when I bought it. I’m thinking of going back to the mbrp.

Sounds good but fail on no 304 stainless and no active valve option, MBRP got the sound but that’s about it Good instructional video as always though

Any check engine light without exhaust valve, and can you use the sport mode trake mode and drift mode with mbrp exhaust make video so we can see it please

kevin Richardson i have this exhaust and all modes work fine. No warning lights. No effect on your drive modes.

Right before they show off the car finished they show that they add a thing onto the cable for the flap that's in the stock system that fakes it out so you don't have any lights on.

What's up with the quality of the stainless 2.5 months old and pretty much covered with surface rust!! Prob gonna be an issue in the future

What got me was the 409 stainless... typically 4XX series stainless is stronger but lacks corrosion resistance. The 3XX series stainless has great corrosion resistance due to more chromium and nickel but has to be tig welded. Basically its CHEAP.... hence $550 vs $1100 for a Borla... You get what you pay for.

I would prefer the original sounds like the. Pop sounds it’s unique

jus wait till u put a downpipe on . if its loud before downpipe it will be to loud flr me i think this will sound good paired with downpipe and not be to loud cause some systems for the rs can be to loud and obnoxious

It is pretty common, just make sure they are tight.

misterchonger I'm not exactly sure the exact savings but the new muffler is significantly lighter than the OEM muffler, no question

Little late, but yes it will. The pops are through the ecu tuning, and the only way to remove them is by getting a aftermarket tune, and specifically telling your tuner that you do not want them.

Why do they not offer downpipes....?

Dylan Knight the valve had nothing to do with that. It was meant to reduce noise while driving in "normal" mode. The valve would stay closed. If you used any other mode the valve would open. The pops and bangs are from the engine ultimately.

The pops and crackles are 100% real... I have a muffler delete on mine and it pops and crackles like crazy when its warmed up
