I think the black rabbits are more like Glitchtraps minions/captured minds. While that amalgamate monster at the end of the game is glitchtrap's corrupted form because of how long he had been trapped in there and how hard he's been trying to escape. Instead of dying he expanded.

The main problem I have with this theory is that Glitchtrap wasn't sealed into the plushie. You're ignoring the cutscene of Glitchtrap sealing us away at the end of Help Wanted. I think the Princess Quest minigame is just an alternate way to tell the story of us collecting tapes and, in turn, stitching Glitchtrap back together within the VR game. Without the VR component they couldn't have you look around and under things for the tapes so they took out that mechanic and added this minigame to tell the same story via the way Scott has liked using to tell lore since FNAF 2. Help Wanted's protagonist IS Vanny.

Honestly, i don’t mean to offend Mike but, this theory makes more sense. I think the line “I always come back” is confirmation that Glitchtrap is William. I still can’t tell whether the princess is a representation of Tape Girl or Vanny.

@@hydroarchonfaker But Tape Girl had no reason to "collect" anything. She created the tapes and then broke them apart to try and destroy him once he infected their code, she's the one who "sealed" him away. She's not the one who made the final couple tapes, either. During each tape she'd been urging you to stop finding them, to just leave them scattered so the entity stayed sealed. But then, in that final 1 or 2 tapes she speaks completely differently and says to collect them and let him start the transfer. Those, I think, were faked by Glitchtrap to lure you into not running or logging out when he started to trap you. Vanny is the beta tester you play as and when he locked her up in the cutscene is when he started brainwashing her. This correlates to the Princess Quest. The princess is continuing to collect hearts and keys (like the tapes and coins in VR) despite them making her feel strange. Additionally, with each one she collects you see the glitching rabbits get more and more solid and dangerous, just like in VR. The Princess is Vanny before her corruption/brainwashing.

I don't think Scott's ever shown himself to be the kind of person to implement a completely new game with visuals just because the original telling would be too hard to implement outside VR. Also, it would be much harder to create a brand new minigame than to place the tapes places you CAN reach in the mobile version and just having you tap on them.

@@hi.923 I honestly believe the Princess is Vanny before her brainwashing. The Princess is collecting two types of items (hearts and keys in place of tapes and coins), the glitching rabbits are getting more solid and mobile with each item collected (the same way Glitchtrap moved closer and closer and was more solid in VR), and she is left trapped in a dark room with Glitchtrap trying to "make them one" the same way our character in VR was in the cutscene where Glitchtrap imprisoned her (probably when/where she was brainwashed).

So this sounds obvious but has anyone tried beating princess quest without picking up any hearts yet cause that sounds like that would do something different

Personally I think people are looking way too deep into this. To me it's just reinforcing what's happening between Glitchtrap and Vanny. The Princess is a stand in for Vanny and she's fallen into the dark grasp of the digital monster. He has a follower/successor to continue his work. Another way to tell the story of Vanny's corruption. Nothing more, nothing less. As other shows, games, movies, and comics do it to. Princess Quest is nothing but symbolism. Scott wrote himself into a corner with that 'I always come back' thing. Because I'm bored of William Afton. Pizza Simulator was a fitting end for the story. I don't mind Glitchtrap being a remnant of Afton but not the man himself.

I honestly agree but this is fnaf your talking about, people often over complicate things and go way to deep into the lore to the point where they need to step back for a moment so they can get a better look and develop a better understanding. There is still so little we know about it and that’s a huge part of it and leaving most of it up to speculation can make some theories crazy

the torchs are the tapes - both "seem" to help to uncover the truth and progress forward by find them... but in both game they lead to youre capture.

And it is now officially confirmed that Glitchtrap is William Afton.

I think you need to look back at the "Candy Cadet" stories from FNAF 6. From the first screen of the game it made me think off those stories "gather 5 into 1 and escape" and only continued to do so the more I watched princess quest. Slightly unrelated, those stories always made me think tht the message was that Afton was killing children to revive his own but... wht was born wasn't exactly what he was trying to safe (the woman in 1 story melted 5 keys into one hoping the new key would unlock all the doors but it no longer worked on any). Plus midnight driver showed that "Someone"escaped from their room. with that in mind, I can't help thinking the game has nothing to do with Vanny (or maybe was retconned to be about her) but was again referrig to whatever the ultimate/original motive behind the FNAF hauntings is.

You know a game developer is a legend when he makes big changes to a game on a different platform

I like the good ending where everyone survives the best. That one where Vanessa is freed from the Pizzaplex and chilling with Gregory on the hilltop with Freddy between them. Glitchtrap does NOT get trapped. He traps you. He shushes you as he leaves into the darkness which is not the behavior of someone trapped wanting to get out. That's a very bad point to start with. I'm a little disappointed in the holes that creates for this theory as it isn't a bad one.

I think the princess quest minigame is just a minigame to bring glitchtrap into our mind since glitchtrap is in the minigame because if you look very closely on his chat it looks like hes saying some cryptic message to get in our mind and trying to murder some random kids.

If you remember, in Fnaf 6 you are tasked by Henry to salvage the animatronics found in the alley. One of them was Scraptrap. It could be that Fazbear Entertainment took the salvage and used it in Help Wanted, giving Afton another chance.

Also my theory is most likely the gravestones of the kids the one in the back is Charlie because of what it explains in the book
