First time viewer here, nice to see regular people's opinions. I hate it when the self proclaimed "pros" take a mild mannered plane like this and change things saying that the factory setup is all wrong before even flying it then not liking it because it is not up to their standards. Flights like you guys did, on a larger plane like that on a small 4s is awesome!

It's nice watching regular flying and not just a bunch of hovers and torque rolls.

That would make a great winter plane for when my engines get cranky

I've got the 1.3m PnP version of this Super Cub and it is also a great flight experience. AR620 went it really easy. Doesn't give wet turd about wind or rough ground (squishy tires are stock). I'd recommend either of these cubs to anyone that'll listen... when they're in stock, that is. Great review, guys. Thanks 👍

Great video for the PA-18 Super Cub. Those tires are really hard but are big enough that in the tall grass you can get it around. It does a good job of hanging on the prop for a 4s plane. Happy landings.

Great plane for sure. I did 11% and 22% elevator mix on my flaps. You mentioned the husky ultimate 6s bird. If you like cubs thats the one. Thanks for the videos. Fun to watch normal people fly planes.

This plane is awesome, definitely needs some dubro inflatables. If I didnt already have an Arrows Husky I would probably buy one. The CZ Cub is really bigger than I'd want so this is a good choice.

Out of all the cubs we've owned, this one has the best power to weight ratio.

This is my favorite plane. I fly with a ar620 and no reflex and use a 3300 4s battery and fly for 8 minutes and still have more than 50 percent left on the battery. Great plane for low passes touch and goes.

Great video! I just bought this plane. Can't wait to fly it. I'm in south florida and it is mostly windy down here. What wind speed were you flying at?

We haven't flown a Beaver yet. We hear they are nice. So far this one is our favorite "Bush Style" plane.

It may not be a fair question, but how would you say this compares to a turbo timber evolution?

Those are both pretty equal planes. Both fly excellent! If I was to choose one over the other, I'd go with the PA-18 because the land gear is stronger. You will not go wrong with either one.

Thank you for the reply...looks like a very nice plane that can also handle some wind. I love the larger size as I think bigger is better. I am just getting back into the hobby after about an 8 year absence. I notivced that you had to check the battery after flying but don't the newer radios have telemetry feedback that you can see while flying? Also my flying field is an actual full size dirt strip at 3,400 feet elevation in the high desert of SoCal. Any adjustments to prop or other for this air flying necessary? @@dsrcplanes
