Here is an unboxing video of the new guitar project. This is a 7-string Flying V that I will be building for Tim Steinruck The plan is to route the control cavity out a bit, making room for the optical theremin. I will be upgrading the hardware with some Grover Rotomatic tuners and Seymour Duncan's Jupiter pickups, with the bridge from either Hipshot or Schaller. The planned color is one they call "Nebula Blue," which is a variation of cobalt blue with a ton of metal flake added. Electronically, this will have a passive pickup with a 9-volt active circuit for the theremin, both signals will be sent to a blender pot. It should turn out quite nicely if everything goes right.
