Here is a video from day 43 of Rob's Iceman build. Today I scuffed and cleaned the neck and sprayed a relatively dry clear coat. After 30 minutes, I sprayed on two slightly wetter coats, completing the clear coat on the neck.
I then pressed the bushing in for the tuner section of the bridge. Then the tailpiece bushings were following; one of them was no problem, the other was a problem. They missed the mark when drilling the ground wire hole. So used a hand drill and a 12-inch long, 1/8-inch drill bit to redrill the hole. After that was done, I installed the ground wire, and the final bushing was pressed in.
Up next, I will be installing the shielding and soldering up the controls and pickups.
