    I remember watching this video when I first started jiu jitsu... Brian hadn’t even had his first mma fight yet, let alone the ufc. Now he’s fighting for the title soon undefeated and possibly one of the most entertaining fighters in the sport right now. Blessed to have witnessed it.

    just hit one in comp... never tried it before, just watched this video a couple times... i'm in the heavyweight division. In the GI, i just got collar/lapel and sleeve grip and just went for it. Thanks for the vid!

    Good video. One further detail is to tilt your head forward , so as to touch your chin to yourchest, as you fall down. This will protect one´s skull from cracking against the ground as they alluded to. However, they did an excellent presentation. Thank you.

    I found that out the hard way. Although, in my experience, because of the surprise factor in techniques like this, I had enough time to do a breakfall (to some degree) as well as finishing the technique. Food for thought.

    Only thing I ask is, to complete the triangle choke you must apply pressure to the neck with both hands if you only apply it with one hand you might not get enough pressure to choke them out?

    @themagicaltragic The groin isn't actually close to the mouth in the choke, your opponents mouth should be exposed if the move is done right. Your groin would actually be closer to the bad guy's armpit

    Does grabbing the leg really prevent the slam. Because it seems like slamming can defeat a lot of bjj in the street.

    I have an opinion... You guys should talk more about other injuries involved with this technique; there's nothing between the hips and the rib-cage, but [the spine]; which can cause paralysis if someone does slam you. Some(bigger/stronger)ppl can pick you up even after you land, and break you in half. Oss
