Bullying Victim Learns Jiu-Jitsu in 5-Days

Спорт

12-year-old Luis was violently assaulted at Lakeland Middle School in Florida. We invited him to California for one week of Jiu-Jitsu training and this is what happened.
The Gracie Bullyproof Summer Camp is a 5-day event hosted once a year in Torrance, California and at Certified Training Centers around the world. Designed for kids ages 6 and up (no previous experience required), this camp will equip your children to deal with bullies verbally, physically and psychologically.
To find a location near you, or to save your child’s spot in this year’s camp, visit www.BullyproofSummerCamp.com
For those who cannot make it to the camp consider learning from home using our online Gracie Bullyproof program at www.gracieuniversity.com/Page...

These videos always make me tear up. In 1st grade I was mercilessly beat on by a few older kids. I was never enrolled in and kind of martial arts, and I felt the psychological effects all throughout school. Not until later in life was I able to find confidence. You are really helping these kids live their best lives.

Take down - > side control -> double ankle sweep -> full guard -> mount -> arm bar - > full guard (again) -> rear mount (taking the back) -> RNC. That is very impressive with just 5 days of training.

Oh Rener! Please stop tearing me up! Please know I endured bullying as a child. The WE and now the combatives program have helped me through so much in overcoming the past. I’m forever grateful of it and the CTCs I’m training in. I won’t be able to overcome that past without being in these programs (even with 2nd black belt in a diff art). Takes work to face the fear. But it’s all worth it.

It's a great thing you guys are doing Rener, it amazes me bullying still exists and no one stands up for others. Back in the 70's and 80's, I got in a lot of trouble for getting into so many fights, the teachers never cared I was standing up for others, and it makes me sad bullying is around after all these year, MAD respect for you guys at Gracie jiu jitsu!!!!

Watching such videos of bullying and random violent attacks does something to me that nothing else does, emotions wise. The helplessness of random violence victims, I cannot deal with it. What a great way to give this kid a great confidence boost for life, and look at all those amazing smiles in the class!!!

I was a bully slayer in school. Having been put into a foster home when I was 2 years old I learned to fight fast because they put some kids in there who were bullies. When I was in school I beat up about a dozen bullies. When I saw a bully picking on a weaker kid I'd get that guy to bully me then knock him out. That was back in the 1980's so they didn't have this stuff to help me back then.

training makes a big difference, i took 2 and a 1/2 years of tae kwon do year of karate and 6 months of judo, and even though i was almost always either the smallest or the youngest or both, nor started or thrown the first punch, i never lost a fight. all street fights where people thought i was a easy target, out numbered out sized, out aged, or a mix of the three. even totally demoralizing a guy twice my age and size by bitch slapping him into submission while he was trying to car jack me and take my keys. and right in front of everyone he's been bullying for years. they all thought i was weak! and the most submissive there, they have no idea. the shock in everyones faces including my best first who knew me for 6 years thought he was coming to me rescue ran 3 blocks to save me only getting there as the guy was walking away. he asked what happened. someone replied, "jason beat up the bully" priceless....

Make sure you are learning takedowns and locks. I want to train BJJ to improve my takedowns and locks. I practice Silat and Escrima since 1993. In 2008, I took up Taiji, Bagua and Xingyi. I am going to practice some blades out on my porch when the Sun hits the porch. Peace yo! Thanks for the Jiu-Jitsu. I ran a ground game on a savage I deflected his Glock and stepped in Reaped the leg and he hit powder keg stage I used my knowledge of rage stopping blades To take all the pages out of his book He was shook He got a look on his face like he was going to die in this place I master violence In silence I deal with real steel I peel back caps and intact To the max collapse fools and crew down to too Everyone brew up a good Jiu-Jitsu game With no name Everyone came up Realized the aim was to cut the violence in violent situations I stayed on vacation while they booked him down at the station I don’t like firearms and flame throwing I don’t blame you for showing your blood and cut But what about shut cases? With Aces I deface this trip criminals thick in the hood I don’t know how to mix it up in the ground fight and roll Control the Soul and get dominant position But first you close the distance and take down After you achieve position you finish with submission I know takedowns and crouching locks from Silat I need to roll a lot I need the BJJ To stay sane I train with blades I rip raw Sawed yah off It’s close call You gotta get in close Get the megadose of violence All while spread of terror Makes marriage there Don’t get scared Surgery carefully There fully pulled heat You must meet Or suffer defeat Most crews can’t compete I’m happy I learned Taiji Bagua and Xingyi All certified pay heed to the soul child Of wild style Mind profiled on the file folder To slice soldier Off Yah gotta boss and hold jack In gang attack Fold max Relax and fit it with attacks A machine gun At least summed I hummed a tune And lit the fire consumed Might see tombs

Ridiculous comments about father. Not everyone is a fighter. I sent my son to JJJ, later to BJJ and Shinkiokushin. After almost 4 years of practice he can defend himself (starting from 4 years old). BTW 5 days is ok to learn technical stand-up and maybe breakfall (if very gifted) 😅
