Flying to San Diego
As icy temps and foggy skies engulfed Central Texas, we took a surprise trip to sunny San Diego. We'll do a short series with a walk through the marina and Seaport Village, a food tour in Little Italy, and our stay in the Gaslamp Quarter in a historic hotel with eateries on every block.

This was a fun one to film. The airport is in the heart of the city and bordered by water. As a pilot, I’d guess this is one of the more tricky landings to do. But the views are awesome!

This might be Jonathan’s favorite city. He was stationed here while he was in the navy. Jennifer went to university here, so it’s familiar - but there’s been a lot of change over the years.

We really played around with the landing. San Diego airport is right on the water in the heart of the city, so it’s a tricky landing.
