I finally flew the Ikarus yetserday from Ince Blundell, and all I can say is, WOW - conversion well and truly in progress! A whole world apart from flying a Cessna out of an airport, don't know why I didn't do this years ago!

Brilliant video, mate! 👍🏻 Yeah, never Jinx it when saying something about calm air, haha! Me and my girl had exactly the same, on our flight to EHMZ 🤣

Great stuff as ever Ben - loved the bump. Must tell you one day about the time I hit turbulence over the Pyrenees......downdrafts were so strong I lost all control authority for periods of time, very scary....then there was the time flying a Cessna near Atlanta on a 5 hour leg where the turb was so strong I couldn't get my hand on the radio.......luck bucket emptier, experience bucket filling....

I feel like airplanes are like sailboats. They are expensive so the owners have to work alot to afford them, so they sit unused most of the time. lol

Superb as usual - a lovely way to get out and about. Lots of funnies in this too but the West Country accent made me laugh out loud. 😂

I see the other half still has first dibs on the Bose. I purchased some Seht’s as a spare set and really impressed. Great video as usual, looking forward to Kemble opening up to PPR again next week.

So, how do you like flying the C42? I have been thinking about buying one but the stick, flap and throttle locations seem a bit odd. I've been trying to grow a third arm on my right side but so far it's not working. 😉

A lovely trip out Ben - glad it smoothed out a bit for you both. How long is one leg of that flight in reality?

Ah good to have you along for it. It’s about 20 mins once you’ve climbed out and left the circuit at Kemble and arrived with a cross wind join at Wadswick. Maybe a little over (SkyDemon says 14 mins as the crow flies though)
