Way late on the video.But I've had my FX5 set up on my 220gl for 7 or 8 yrs now and it is still working great never any problems non at all even the fish are still thriving with the same system that I installed way back then now that they have the FX6 I believe ill kept using my FX5 but still add the FX6 after all you can't have enough filtration.if the FX6 works as well and is as reliable as my FX5 I believe my fish can keep living in a healthy and well filtered system using the brand.Was well worth the investment.

@nck445 did you ever find out what is the best media for the red ear sliders? i have two of them and i am going to get this same filter.
I know your comment is five months old, but if you have not gotten a filter yet read this- You know how in cars they make power inverters/converters-(I forgot the technical name)-that you plug into your cigarette lighter outlet to convert it from 12v to 110v and a standard outlet? You can use something similar but for house plugs such as this- go to Amazon and search "voltage converter" and you can find your type.
I just picked up the FX6 today... I hope I have as much luck with it all of you.
