Would you think this light can grow low light plants?

I believe so. Anubias and buceaphelandra are two species of plants that do well in low light and actually prefer it. Java fern also another one. Just need to keep in mind not to use plants that grow big as this isn’t a big tank. Regular pruning will need to be done.

Actually it’s the smallest I recommend. I personally recommend at least a 2.5 gallon aquarium and the fact this aquarium comes with a heater and a filtration system that isn’t blowing the fish everywhere but is gentle is another plus for me. If you look at the natural environment of bettas you’d be surprised.
