My man blessing us with another GEM of a sound design vid! Amazing how all these years later, Flume’s older songs are still so inspirational to an entire generation of creators

There are so much interesting synth sounddesign in Flume/Quiet Bison etc. music, and its crazy that after 7 years there were no remake attempts to one of the most iconic Flume tracks (Hyperreal) out there. Thank you so much!

From what I remember, Flume actually used a sample for this. He prob used the filter delay and added automation or LFO, but still cool that you were able to create this from scratch considering that Flume didn't even do that.

For the last 2 years you’ve graced me with such accurate and quality sound design tutorials and preset packs. You’re great!! Also if ever possible, can you show us how to make the bass from “Alive - rufus du sol, solomun remix.” Even if it’s just a preset or write up, I feel you’re one of the few who could successfully attempt. Great work and cheers 🎉

If you want filter delay on steroids use audio effects rack and use as many channels with for example Auto Filter as you like! This gives you all the same + a lot more. Only downside is you can only see one delay at at time with the channel you select. Also filter delay is a combo of high and low pass filter rather than a bandpass, but you can ofc. have multiple filters after each other in effects rack.

Why not turn the L+R delay time to unsync'd and bring it down as low as possible to keep the original timing of the midi essentially intact?
