    5:00 as a kid in Boys Scouts at summer camp, we would catch the California Rosy Boa and use as our kerchief holder. They stayed all day. Same for this nice one.

    WOW!WOW! This would be the best 1st date ever!!! I've flipped every board I've seen where I am in Oklahoma & only ever find Rough Earths & Ringnecks. I'm grateful to even see them but I'd sure like to find some others.

    My male eastern garter snake passed away Saturday after being with me for 8 years. It really sucks but he was probably just old. He was the same size the whole time I had him. He had been slowing down for the past few months and not eating very much.

    Loved seeing those speckled king snakes - even if the taxonomists say they aren't technically in the right geographic range to be grouped with them.

    In central west Florida we had anoles, they were possibly absorbed by the so called invasive “Cuban lizard” and harder to find now. The Cuban lizards have a crest and blotchy brown color.

    I live in Alabama. You guys must’ve been along I-65 from Clanton to Montgomery or somewhere around there. (I live closer to Birmingham) I’ve seen so many fields and whatnot along 65 I’d love to check out but I don’t know anyone through there.

    They are eastern black kingsnake I’m AL and they are protected. That’s why they aren’t bred

    10:08, that appears to be an Anolis cristatellus, aka Crested Anole, different than the Green Anole. I see them all over the place around St. Augustine Fl.
