Flint RiverQuarium Full Tour - Albany, Georgia
The Flint RiverQuarium is a 54,000 sq ft (5,000 m2) aquarium opened in 2004 and located on the banks of the Flint River in Albany, Georgia, United States. The aquarium follows the journey of the Flint River, and highlights the ecosystems of the Apalachicola, Chattahoochee and Flint River basins.
Features
The Flint RiverQuarium features both freshwater and saltwater river ecosystem of Southwest Georgia as well as the world.
Blue Hole Spring is an open-air, 175,000-US-gallon (660,000 L), 22 ft (6.7 m) deep tank filled by a natural spring below. It exhibits the diverse life forms of the Flint River, which runs through Southwest Georgia.
The Flint River Gallery includes both freshwater and saltwater fish, and includes a live fish hatchery. In this exhibit, visitors can follow the 350-mile (560 km) journey of the Flint River to the ocean.
Discovery Caverns includes interactive displays and a cave exhibiting subterranean creatures.
The World of Water shows visitors other rivers around the world that share features and challenges with the Flint.
Spring Run Creek is home to the aquarium's alligators.
Cypress Pond Aviary is a 35-foot (11 m) high enclosure featuring birds indigenous to the Flint River basin, as well as several migratory birds that pass through the area. Although the first inhabitants of this exhibit are commercially available birds such as quail and ducks, the RiverQuarium is working with various groups to obtain non-releasable birds native to the area.

Awesome
Really enjoyed this video! It’s so different from other aquariums and has a very unique charm to it that I like quite a lot.

This was definitely a unique aquarium, it was much smaller than most others I've been to. I liked the fact that this aquarium focuses on the species that inhabit the local ecosystem.
Hi Tom I really enjoyed this video. I liked the sturgeon at 20:29, I hope you had fun at this Aquarium

There are so many destinations in California I want to visit. Sadly I won't have the time to see everything. I'll get to more places next time I'm going through California.
I don't remember the names of the fish, but the exhibits from the Ganges river. It was amazing. I don't know if I ever seen exhibits from that river. Pretty cool!

We currently have two fish in there. A green chromide (smaller fish with vertical bars) and a spotted scat. Our scat recently had surgery to remove one of his eyes because he was blind in that eye and having continuous painful infections that didn’t respond to antibiotics. He is doing very well now and is the sweetest little guy.

I work as an aquarist here. Any questions? (By the way, I remember jumping and staring at you awkwardly when I saw you with your GoPro in the gift shop. Sorry about that. I’m easily startled!)

Hello, Thank You for watching 😊
There's A zoo I recommend you avoid for your Summer trip if you are planning to visit the Charmingfare Farm in Manchester New Hampshire I recommend you avoid it because the domestic animal exhibits are okay however the wild animal exhibits have small metal cages that are overgrown and even some damaged, the animals act depressed and stressed out finally the place is run down and not well managed

Thanks for this information, I don't like places that exploit animals for money. The well-being of the animals should always be number one.
