Glad you enjoyed it, this was a fun zoo. The kitten adoption center was a pleasant surprise. I definitely prefer people adopt over buying their new furry friends. 🙂

Hi Tom i enjoyed this video. The Penguin looks very gorgeous that's a brand new area of the zoo that I believe just opened last year. I really loved the Wolves

Glad you enjoyed it, new regulations regarding space requirements for elephants forced several zoo's to relocate their elephants.

Oh no, we do have elephants here! I live here in EP and I even had a friend of my father's who let me in behind the scenes when he was working there... They have 2 or 3 elephants last I remembered. One was older and a bit more aggressive and he let me feed the youngest, I believe.

Actually we have 4 Orangutans. The ones you saw was the Mom, and her daughter and the baby is the boy... the dad doesn't always go out when the mom and baby our out

Also the exhibit that is being constructed for the Binturongs was the Sun Bear exhibit

great to see they replaced the Amur Leopard with Komodos, unrealistic of AZA to get siberian animals to breed in the Chihuahuan Desert lol

Before this was the Turkey exhibit it used to belong to the Prairie Dogs

I've seen the same hat designs at multiple different zoos. My guess is they all purchased from the same vendor.

Also did you know that before the Lar Gibbon exhibit it used to belong to the Siamangs but they got relocated to the Rio Grande Zoo
