Thanks for sharing, Tom. Looks like a pretty cool zoo. I'm guessing the prehensile tailed skinks were hanging out in the cork tube in the top, middle section of the enclosure. Our trio spend almost all day hiding in cork rounds, until right around dusk. That's a tough balance with zoos, making the animals feel safe, but still giving the public a view of them. Can't wait for the next video. 👍

It is a bummer when I don't get to see some animals. But the happiness of the animal is much more important than me seeing them. Still got to see lots of beautiful animals on my visit. It's a really enjoyable zoo. I'm glad you enjoyed the tour 😁

Hey Tom! I hope you`re well, i am, school just finished today, had my last exam this morning (Monday, in case you`re reading this at a later date) so now i have more time for KZread and to work longer hours at work. Most people don`t like working longer hours but i like my job, it`s easy and enjoyable, especially in the evening, just my thoughts, the electric hum of the cart machine, the rattle and jaggle of the carts, pretty relaxing. As you would have seen with my previous comments, i`ve been doing good with catching up on your channel, Tom. I`m currently at SeaLife aquarium, about 7 minutes in or so. I really enjoyed this Zoo Tom, you always manage to visit places that i`ve never even heard of before, although, looking through the comments, i can see that a lot of people have wanted you to visit this place for a little while now, Tom. I loved reading about how this Zoo are helping animals in their wild habitats, like when you showed all of the signage for their efforts to help cheetahs but at that same time, helping farmers, that was awesome to read, proof that animals and humans can coexist peacefully, now to do this with all species of animals, it`s possible, we just all need to do our part. I also enjoyed the amount of Species Survival Plan logos on the signage, i love when Zoos/Aquariums are engaged in so many SSPs, it all helps. Every baby animal counts, one step closer to saving the species, the baby will be nothing short of a miracle. Now, for some timestamps, shall we Tom? I`ve got quite a few: 6:20: He`s hiding lol. Cant`t see me hehe. 6:32: He is sooooooooo cute! Something about baby animals Tom, that i can`t get enough of, so adorable! Cuteness overload!! 6:44: That`s a beautiful habitat for the gorillas, don`t you agree, Tom? 11:32: Mr.Tentacle Snake is on the top left corner, left to the bubbles Tom ;). I know you probably didn`t notice because you were looking through the camera lens to make sure you had a kicka$$ shot. 12:44: I find it hilarious that he`s quite literally right above his signage, like hey, yeah i`m right here humans. I`m the star of the show. Cute little guy. Fun fact about these guys: These guys have adapted to be immune to rattlesnake venom, since they often prey on rattlesnakes, bite as much as you want rattlesnake, it`ll have no effect on them :). 12:56: If i had to guess, they are most likely in that cork tube positioned in the centre of the enclosure, these guys tend to be active at dawn and dusk for the most part, that is a great enclosure though! Shame they were a no-show, they are beautiful lizards, a lot of the reptile channels am subscribed to have these guys, what`s interesting to me is that they do better in pairs or in small groups, most lizards (and reptiles in general) prefer to live alone, quite interesting... 15:08: They are one of only 2 true venomous lizards in the world, them and the beaded lizard. The Komodo Dragon is kind of venomous, but it kills using bacteria in it`s mouth, so it`s not a true venomous lizard, if that makes sense, Tom. 15:50: Is that a tattoo on your hand Tom? I can`t make out what it is, if it is. Would you mind telling me? 16:40: Such a beautiful animal! Ever since i was a little boy, i was fascinated with large, African animals. My favourites were elephants (both African and Asian varieties), hippos (the large river hippo and the much smaller pygmy hippo) and rhinos (all 5 species, my favourite as a kid was the greater one horned rhino, i thought it looked like a tank, as a little boy). I think the animals got word from the zebras that you were at the Zoo today, so you get animal butts Tom LOLOLOLOLOL!! 22:25: Am speed. ZOOOOOOMMMMMM!!!! 25:40: Of course you would say something like that Tom.... Sigh, beautiful animal. 32:04: Beautiful birds and habitat for them! 32:36: Great Blue Heron, as you stated a few seconds later in the video. 33:52: That is so awesome!! Whoever made that is nothing short of an artist! 34:16: Time to play in the water!! Man, otters are so cute, never get tired of seeing them. I`m lucky enough to have this very species of otter in my area, i mostly see them in summer but i`ve seen them in the snow a few times as well, they`re quite fun to observe, i`ve seen them countless times. 35:40: I`ve never heard of a bush dog, shame they weren't out, i don`t recall seeing these in any of your Zoo videos, so i imagine these guys would have been a first for you as well, Tom. At least there was a picture on the signage. 36:04: Another otter species? Now, this, you don`t see often, two otter species in one Zoo, such a shame they were not out! However, you have seen this species before in a few Zoos, my memory almost never lets me down. 36:45: Yay, no zebra butts for once, you can catch a break, Tom LOL!! Beautiful habitat and animals. 37:04: The baby rhino is sooooooooo cute! I love how baby rhinos look, so adorable. Every baby animal matters for species who are endangered, this little guy is so important for the survival of his species and will help his species in ways that he does not yet know. Rhinos are some of my favourite animals and it makes me so sad knowing that they are killed for their horns, and it has no medicinal purpose whatsoever, people only think they do... 38:10: Man your jokes are terrible sometimes, Tom, geez lol, i facepalmed hard when i watched this part, muttering:: Dear Lord Tom, freaking hell man haha. 41:28: Hopefully he`ll make a full recovery and back on his feet soon! Stunning animals, unfortunately, when food is scarce, the cheetah often loses out on food, bullied out by lions and even hyenas. I saw in a documentary, the narrator said: The cheetah is lightly built, built for speed, then it said essentially what i said about food being scarce, then the narrator said: The cheetah`s advantage can actually become it`s weakness. As a little boy, that part fascinated me. 42:32: I told you Tom, the zebras told everyone in the Zoo that you were there, man... 44:34: He likes that spot. 44:45: This seems to be one of the most common horn-bills that you see in Zoos, Tom. 45:02: Male on the right (very easy to tell with these guys, males have massive horns, females don`t have any), female on the left. 45:14: I think we have a male and female here: One has a black throat pouch, the other has red. I read it somewhere before, i just can`t remember who is who... 51:24: Tigers are quite good swimmers and one of the few big cats who like water, they even hunt in the water in the wild sometimes, good that the Zoo offers some water to swim in! 52:22: That`s so sweet, shows just how much like us the great apes truly are! I mean, Orangutans care for their young for 8-10 years, the only primate to care for their young longer is us. 52:46: Having a nice swim, eh Mr.Alligator? Shame the Alligator Snapper was a no-show, that`s one of my favourite reptiles, Tom. 53:01: I`m sure it was an accident Tom, but you said wolf instead of fox for both the red fox and the grey fox. Again, i`m sure that it was an accident. 53:17: He`s pretty cute, having a nice nap! 54:00: Shame that you didn`t see these guys, my philosophy is: The more otters, the better! That does it for time stamps, Tom. I`ill admit this Tom, i was a bit dissapointed with the amount of no-shows in this video but i know that`s not your fault and it`s completely up to the animal if they want to come out or not. Great video Tom, really enjoyed it, hope you`re well, looking forward to your reply man! Say hi to Sheldon for me! I love how you mention him pretty much every time you see a Sulcata Tortoise. Peace, Tom.

Finished with another school year Eh Noah? I bet your happy to have a bit of free time now. The Little Rock Zoo was a zoo I had been wanting to visit for some time. After many delays due to the pandemic and multiple requests I am happy I finally got to go. This was a really nicely laid out zoo, very clear paths and fantastic habitats for the animals. Orangutans seem to really like to have a blanket, I've seen them like that at most zoo's that have them, very cute. I loved how the pathway was above the ape habitats, made for excellent viewing. I don't have a tattoo, it was a hand stamp, I had to go back to my car after I entered the zoo. Watching the otters playing together always brings a smile to my face, I was happy to see they have 2 different types, bummer I didn't see the other. Now my jokes are top tier Dad jokes Noah, you know you love em. Trying to get a decent shot of that anteater took some time, kept going behind the shrubs. I had a great time at this zoo, didn't miss too many animals, it took multiple attempts see a few of them but you know I always recommend going back several times if you really want to see an animal. As always Noah, Thanks for your comment, Sheldon is doing great, I'll tell him you said SUP!

@@TomsRoadTrippin Yeah Tom, i`m very happy that summer is here. After work on Sunday (9AM-5:30PM), my grandparents are taking me and my two brothers camping for a few days! So, i`m happy about that, something to look forward to, Tom. Did you go camping much as a child/teenager, Tom? Ah, my mistake Tom, looked like a tattoo at first. What was the hand stamp for Tom, why did you go back to your car? The otters are always a highlight of your Zoo/Aquarium Tours Tom, so fun to watch! Although i shake my head, saying: omg Tom, no that`s so dumb or i quite literally facepalm, your jokes are always a highlight of the video for me, man, i do enjoy them. I like how you go back multiple times to try and get a decent view of the animal for both yourself and your viewers to enjoy, i like how you don`t go back just one time and if you don`t see it, just be like oh well, i`ll give up. Nope, not you Tom. You are truly unlike any KZreadr of this genre, you show everything with great detail and i can tell you care about your viewers and that you love what you do. I`ve read replies from the creator before on KZread and he said things like this: Shut up you little b*tch, f*ck you motherf*cker. Not to me but to someone else. I was like: OK, Next Channel! I`m happy to hear Sheldon is doing well! I`ve found myself going to your pets video AT LEAST once a day and watching the parts where you show Sheldon, he`s just so cool and cute! How long have you had him again, Tom? Expect it to be a regular part of my comments, my hello to Sheldon. I love his name Tom. Suits him well. And finally, i`d like to apologise for watching your last few videos late, it was not by choice. This summer, i`ll try to stay on top of your videos, but i know that you understood whenever i fell behind on your videos Tom, thanks for that! I really love how you treat your viewers in your replies and even on video Tom, unlike that one content creator from earlier, whom i will not name. One more thing, then i`m done Tom, i promise lol. It`s my birthday on Friday, i`m a bit dissapointed that it`s not on a Thursday, therefore you won`t post a video on my birthday. But a little birthday message on your Community Tab would mean the world to me Tom. Seeing as how much i mean to you, as a supporter, consider it thanking me for my support, paying me back, if you want to put it that way. I`d really appreciate Tom. We`ll see if you follow through or not, again this is just a suggestion but it would mean a lot to me for my 17th birthday on Friday. It would be the equivalent of receiving a gift from someone like you.

The Komodo dragon, as well as many other monitors, is certainly venomous. The bacteria hypothesis was an explanation for how their bites gave that effect before we discovered the venom of monitors in 2005. They are not highly venomous and it’s not the threatening part of their bites to us but it is there
