Thanks!
This is week 19 of my second Yamaha XV 750 Virago caferacer project. This week I installed the oil lines, cleaned the union bolts and installed the carburetors to the engine. Now the engine is ready to enter the frame.
In the workshop we started making side panels. The first one is finished.

Thank you! You're doing awesome and I'm looking forward for your next video. :)
Can't wait to see the finished bike
"We don't do plastics over here". Right on
Very nice details on how those panels go on. By the way, I donate a lot of my time at my bike shop so in turn I get work done for free. See if he will let you sweep and take out the trash, etc
I don't think you need those gaskets for the carbs. There should be a rubber O ring in the manifold that is adequate for the job. Looking forward to the exhaust.
What I do is put them in rust remover and if you have a plating machine nickel plate them am sure you know this like the project
Another great video @Chiefpep. One thing I am always impressed with is your access to tools and machinery. I can only assume that you are friends with your 'workshop' ? (we call it machine shop here in North America) Because it would be extremely costly to have that kind of time at the machinists if you are paying regular rates.
I hope you flushed and blew-out those tubes and bolts...... Dave NewZealand
I noticed that you added air filter pods to carburetor, could you please give me the reference of that, I was looking online but not sure if they will fit Hitachi carburetors in such small gap between engine cylinders and carburetor. Thank you.
Hi man, i have problems with my bike, i install a mini air filters and i have extra hoses now, can you help me how to conect the carburetor hoses please
Had a question about a part on the carburetor, I'm missing the throttle cable receiver and can't find it anywhere no part number nothing. Wondering if you knew what the actual name of the part or part number and maybe we're to find one
