Here's a little trick the next time you have to deal with O2 sensors and removing the x pipe. Disconnect the O2 sensors then drop the x pipe then unscrew them 👍🏻👍🏻

Getting the tips aligned is the worst. The extra clamps on the corsa catback make it easier though.

Pleeeeeeeeez tell your friend to get some Corsa's to complete and compliment the headers...………...unless he's hearing sensitive.

I have the same exhaust set up on my zo6. I gave up on trying to get the exhaust straight. I have solid motor mounts and you would think that would not let the engine twist as much but the tips never stay level for long. My driver side exhaust flange where the muffler meets is super close to the shield for the gas tank. Kooks look good but fitment needs work.

Good and informative video Chris. Pipe separation= true header sound albeit on one side. lol. I bet you got to use the knees as some holding power in this one. Buy and electric 3/8 ratchet wrench...You will be surprised at how much quicker your work will become.

Depends on the vehicle. On this car I use a pick up top of the rubber block.

What's your opinion on running 10w30 with a quart of Lucas oil stabilizer for burning 2 quarts of oil after a full oil cycle on just 5w30

It sounds like you have a problem. You shouldn’t burn 2 quarts.

Yes as stated below, you put the o2s on the wrong sides. Driver side wire goes into passenger side bung, and vice Versa. Now his fuel trims will be reading off slightly on each bank. Disregard this if his rear o2s have been tuned out.

Have you documented any performance increase with this PITA modification?

What I found informative was your pointing out how you re-wind the O2 sensor wires so that during the install the wires actually "wind" into place with the tightening of the sensor's nut. So this C5 is totally catless? Is this not an inspection concern in Arizona? Save the Wave.🙋‍♂️

No inspection needed if you have collector car insurance.

You should put some wood blocking under the car just in case those fancy lifting deals fail.

The lift has 2 safety catch points.

Myc5 is not a zo6 but has o2 sensors in the rear also. I did the same exhaust setup hooked up front o2 s but not rear How do I get the check engine light off or do I just live with it?

In the state of AZ, you are not necessarily required to have cats to pass inspection as long at you do not have a check engine light. Also, if you have collector car insurance, you are not required to have inspection at all.
